Abstract

The baby lock safe is a safety device that is made from a durable material strap, 1, with an integral flexible but non compressable panel, 4, sewn down through the centre of the device that folds over the locking catch mechanisms, 5, of child car safety seat harness and three - point seat belts and adjoins together the two end pieces of the device with press studs 2, 3, located in each corner of the baby lock safe.

Baby Lock Safe This Invention Relates to Child Car Safety Seat Harness and in car Three-point Seat Eelt Safety.

Seat belts and harnesses are in use every cay, in every car. Tl-; is Invention prohibits young children from undoing their chilc safety seat harnesses or seat belts.

The object of this Invention is to provice a safety device which will rrevent the child releasing themselves from their safety seats t\ cvering over the child safety seat in car three-point seat belt locking catch mechanisms, whilst either stationary or in transit.

Accordinglyh, this Invention provides a safety device for chilc safety seat harnesses and Three - point seat belt locking catch mechanisms, comprising of a Shaped strap of strong material which an integral flexicle but non-corr. pressable panel wide enough to cover the child safety seat Three-point seat belt lockinc, catch mechanisms, the lencth of which, will run alonc the length of the main body of the safety device, with press studs located one in each corner of the device to be employed to affix the two ends of the device toc. ether to enable the device to cover over the locking catch mechanisms of the child car safety seat harness Three - point seat belt. This is to prohibait instant access for the child to the locking catch mechanisims of both the child car safety seat anc the Three - point car seat belt.

Preferably the safety device would be made of canvas type material for durability, but could be covered with a softer material for tactility and d hygiene and the integral non compressable flexible panel could be made usinc vulcanized rubber, press studs to be en, ployed to affix the two encs of the safety device together when in use.

5. once these steps have been completed, press the panel, 4 to check that the child safety seat harness three - point seat belt locking catch mechanisms, 5, do not release in order to rerove the safety device, the step described above are to be carried out in the reverse secuence.
