Abstract

An eye bath which has a firm air tube connected to it with a rubber pressure ball attached. The rubber ball has a flat side for thumb pressure. An air intake outside which enables the user to control the level of liquid in the eye bath itself so as to avoid spillages. The liquid is poured into the eye bath and is put up to the eye, pressure is placed on the ball which forces air down the tube thus spraying the contents across the eye. When pressure is released the liquid falls back into the eye bath.

Figure 4. Base of the bath may be solid plastic, allowing for channel from centre to connect to exterior tube. A none returning valve may also be used.

Claims (1)

  1. CLAIMS Novel Eye Cleansing Jet Wash Novel Features and Benefits to the Customer.
    Novel device which allows eye wash solution and similar to be sprayed into the eye.
    Can be used from a flat surface for a sitting position.
    Also used whilst holding in hands in standing position.
    Eliminates the problems of having to tilt the head backwards avoiding liquids spilling across the face.
    For the benefit of persons suffering from back and neckcomplaints, the elderly and also the young. vit operates by squeezing the rubber ball forcing air into the bath.
    Continued pump action spray, massages and soothes tired eyes.
    Pump action spray provides more thorough washing of the eye and can reduce the effects of eye infections.
    Allows dangerous chemicals to be quickly washed from the eye.
