Abstract

A safety warning device, preferably made of plastic, rubber, or a combination thereof, which allows the device to be bent, twisted, rolled or folded for storage but allows the device to regain it's original shape when in use. The warning device may also incorporate a reflective jacket that can be left on the device when it is stored.

Description

Vehicle Bendy warning/safety device This invention relates primarily to vehicle users and vehicle safety on roads, highways and motorways, but could be used. in other areas where warning devices are used.
The object of this invention is to provide the vehicle user with several warning devices which can be kept in vehicles using very little storage space keeping traditional shapes and forms accessible in collapsible form.
Accordingly this invention is aimed at complying with all road safety regulations.
The warning device is a free standing structure which can be placed anywhere convenient which would preferably be made of rubber or plastic material or a combination of these, specially formulated in such a way that it allows the warning devices structure to be bent, rolled, twisted or folded. enabling it to be collapsed or deployed retaining its original manufactured form, time and time again. The method of manufacture would determine material preference and fixings. The warning devices would be moulded with a separate base or all in one and these would take various shapes or forms. A specially manufactured reflective jacket would be made. to enable it to be left on when in the collapsed form. The body of the warning devices would be preferably coloured red or orange with the bases. coloured preferably red, orange, black, brown or grey.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with references to accompanying drawings in which ; Figure 1 showing a side view of the whole warning/safety device with flexible reflective jacket.
Figure 2 showing the aerial view of the preferred embodiment of the warning/safety device with the body wrapped round the base.
Figure 3 showing underneath. of the base with fixings and part of the conical body folded around.
Figure 4 showing the warning device in a rolled form including the base and fastenings.
Figure 5 showing four safety/warning devices rolled up. into a carrying. case.
Figure 6 showing warning/safety devices and bases folded and packed into a carrying case.
As shown in figure 1 the warning device comprises of a. round conical like structure with base.
As shown in figure 1 a specially manufactured durable reflective jacket.
As shown in figure 1 the conical body is preferably coloured red or orange, with bases coloured preferably red, orange, black, grey or brown.
As shown in figure 2 the warning devices body folded around the base.
As shown in figure 3 the underneath of the base with warning device bent round base.
As shown in figure 3 fixings fastening the base to conical body.
As shown in figure 4 a moulded warning device rolled up with fastener As shown in figure 5 four rolled up warning device in a carrying/storage case.
As shown in figure 6 four warning devices collapsed and packed into a plastic carrying case with reflective jackets.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims 1 A safety warning device which would be used by vehicle users and would be made of preferably rubber, plastic or a combination of these materials, specially formulated in such a way that it would allow the warning devices structure to be bent, rolled, twisted or folded and enabling it to be collapsed or deployed retaining its original manufactured form time and time again, the method of manufacture would be determined by material preference. and fixings, the warning device would take various shapes and forms.
