Abstract
The lure is bendable to a certain shape, this shape is maintained whilst in the water and also causes the lure to wiggle in the water. The bendable portion may be made of wires encapsulated into a pliable material such as plastic (fig 3). This bendable portion may form parts B and D of a lure (figure 5), the part C being a basic spinning section.
Description
zizis invention is for a new type of fishing lures.
Fishing lures are not new, they have been around for many years and are well known within the fishing world, there function is simple, a small fish-like shape designed to tempt a fish to bite.
However this is not as simple as it sounds as every fish has it's own preference. At the moment all lures have there own particular fixed shape, this means that each time it is used its performance in the water will always be the same.
My idea is therefore a bendable lure which will be able to adapt to every fisherman's needs. The main difference this lure will have from the older, more traditional style lures will be, its shape changing ability. This shape change function will alter the lures wiggling motion in the water giving the fisherman more variety in the way he presents this lure to those normally untemptied fish, and more importantly let the fisherman choose for himself a unique wiggling motion that will entice a fish to bite.
This lure is made from similar component parts as conventional lures, however arranged slightly different with bendable plastic, and wire being the key ingredients. This could be introduced anywhere through a lure if not the whole lure. These parts along with various other components will be joined together to form a rough silhouette of a fish. These sections will also be numoures shapes, sizes, and colours in order to cover all aspects of fishing worldwide.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanyings drawings in : Figure 1 shows three Alasticum wire traces.
Figure 2 shows Fig 1, in a surrounding plastic sheaf.
Figure 3 shows Fig 1, Fig 2, covered with a moulded rubbery plastic.
Figure 4 shows a side view of one possible design with this technique included.
Figure 5 shows an overhead view of Fig 4.
Referring to the drawing of Fig 4, part A is a swivel this will help with the attachment to the main fishing line. Part B is the head this part will have the bendable technique mentioned in Fig 3, to help make slight adjustments to the wiggling motion. Part C, is a basic spinning section, and will provide the main weight required for different depths of fishing, this spinning section will also stop the lure from wiggling dramatically when in use.
Part D, is the tail section this will also have the bend technique mentioned in Fig 3, to help with the wiggle alterations. Part E1, E2,
E3, E4, are the same bendable wire trace mentioned in Fig 2, this runs through the centre of the lure and holds the lot together. Part
F, is a standard treble hook. Parts G, are two wing shapes positioned at an slight angle to help this part spin in the water.
