Abstract

A garden waste catcher comprises a container with a handle such that the container may be placed above head hight to catch debris such as trimmings from the top of a hedge which is out of normal reach.

Description

Garden Waste Catcher
Lightweight garden waste catcher (see figures l, that is design to receive garden waste resulted from cutting or trimming trees, particularly fence trees to avoid falling in the ground and/or in neighbor garden. It is made of light plastic or metal to allow easy handling and maneuvering.
As shown in figure 1, the device is consists of two parts. The first is the curving rectangle basket which is made of plastic material to accommodate the garden waste resulted from the cutting or trimming. On the side of that plastic basket there is a curving metal par with a ready joint point/hook to receive the other side of the hook in the handle.
The second part is the handle, which can easily assembled or hooked to the plastic basket without any tools. The handle has two comfortable hands grip. In addition to, an adjustable or controller of the level of the plastic basket which can set the plastic basket into three different positions.
Statement of Novelty The features of the design for which novelty is claimed reside in the shape & configuration of the article as shown in the representation.

Claims (8)

  1. CLAMIS 1. A Lightweight garden waste catcher, which is design to receive garden waste resulted from cutting or trimming trees, particularly fence trees to avoid falling in the ground and/or in neighbor garden. (see figure lu
  2. 2. Device as in claim 1, made of light plastic or metal to allow easy handling and maneuvering.
  3. 3. Device as in claim 1, has a curving rectangle plastic basket to accommodate the garden waste resulted from the cutting or trimming.
  4. 4. Device as in claim 3, has two shapes of edges for that plastic basket.
    The top edge is straight line, whereas the lower edge is curving.
  5. 5. Device as in claim 3, has a curving metal par with a ready joint point/hook to receive the other side of the hook in the handle.
  6. 6. Device as in claim 1, has a handle that can easily assembled or hooked to the plastic basket without any tools.
  7. 7. Device as in claim 6, has two comfortable hand grip.
  8. 8. Device as in claim 7, has an adjustable or controller of the level of the Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows Claim 1: A garden waste catcher comprising a container with an elongate opening and an arcuate troph-shaped bottom wall, a handle having a first extending substantially axially of the container opening and a second and extending substantially transverse to the container opening, the first end being connected to the container and the second end having releasable connection means adapted for releasable connection to a further extension handle so that the waste catcher may be placed above head height to catch trimmings, such as trimmings from the top of a hedge, which is out of normal reach.
    Claim 2: A garden waste catcher as claimed in claim 1 which is made of plastic or metal material.
    Claim 3: A garden waste catcher as claimed in claim 1 wherein the opening is rectangular and has an upper edge, in use, which is straight and a lower edge which is curved.
    Claim 4: A garden waste catcher as claimed in claim 1 including the further extension handle.
    Claim 5 : A garden waste catcher as claimed in claim 4 wherein the extension handle has a hand grip.
    Claim 6: A garden waste catcher as claimed in claim 5 wherein there are two hand grips.
    Claim 7: A garden waste catcher as claimed in claim 1 wherein the container may be adjustably rotated, relative to the first end of the handle, about a longitudinal axis of the container.
    Claim 8: A garden waste catcher substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
