Abstract

A household bin which allows easy bag removal has an inner structure which is wider at the top than at the bottom so that only a limited amount of rubbish can collect at the base. Small air-holes 4 are provided to prevent low-pressure from forming thus aiding easy removal of the bin-liner.

Description

2340732 Easi-Bin This invention relates to an easily emptied household
bin.
Every household has a kitchen bin. Kitchen bins are often over-filled and as a result the bin-liners tear on removal. As the liner is pulled from the bin, low-pressure forms thus simultaneously pulling the bag downwards, causing it to tear.
According to the present invention there is provided a sturdy inner structure the purpose of which is to house the bin-liner. The structure is wider at the top than at the bottom so that only a limited amount of rubbish can collect at the base. This allows ease of removal. Also placed a short distance from the base and all around the structure are small airholes which will prevent low pressure from forming so allowing further ease of removal.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:- The cross section shows the household bin (1) within which is housed the sturdy structure (2) which contains the bin-liner (3). Small air-holes (4) are positioned approximately 2 inches from the base of the sturdy inner structure (2).

1) An easi-bin comprising an internal structure within which is housed a conventional binliner. The structure is wider at the top than at the bottom so that only a limited amount of rubbish can collect at the base so allowing easy removal of household rubbish.

Claims (2)

  1. 2) An easi-bin as claimed in Claim 1, with small air holes positioned
    approximately 2 inches from the base to prevent lowpressure forming. This low pressure pulls the bag downwards as it is being removed thus creating even more pressure on the bin-liner and forcing it to tear. The air-holes would prevent this occurrence.
  2. 2) A kitchen rubbish bin as claimed in --laim 1, witn small air holes positioned approximately 2 inches (5 centimetres) from the hase to prevent low-press,-ire fo,--ming.
