2338398 A Belly Button item to be worn in a pierced Naval. Take a claw setting or other wise know as a collette. Solder on extra silver to one of the arms to increase thickness. From a I mm to a 2.5mm thickness. Tap out a hole of 1.6mm in to the widened arm. (Tap puts a thread inside the hole).
mould can now be made from this master.
surgical steel bar can now be screwed in to the tapped hole, the bar thickness is 1. 6mm. This process allows two metals, which cannot be soldered together (they both have different melting points) to be securley fixed together Surgical steel is a very hard metal to work with, it cannot be made into very many different designs. Surgical steel is the only metal that can be worn in a naval piercing. By using a much more plyable metal, different designs can be attached to surgical steel bars to allow for a variable visual affect.
