Abstract
A wheeled support for a case comprises an angular transverse cross-section bracket 10, for supporting or moulded as part of a bass or cello case. The bracket carries a protruding tubular section 8 adapted to receive a spring 5 and a spring retainer, which together with pin 7 in a cut-out 9 provide a support arrangement for wheels 3.
Description
2337725 1 This invention relates to: - Foldaway-Tumaway-Wheelaway
undercarriages
(DESCRIPTION)
In the main underearriages are a layout of wheels to carry the container they support. There is a mini- type undercarriage being unique in their assemblies for the purpose of transporting of bulky and light goods in its extended positions enabling the holder to be comfortable when controlling the undercarriage via its extended handleis when it is finished as a mini-transport it is quickly converted into a hand carrying case/bag e.t.c. the holder being restricted free during the course of a daily routine- large containers such as bass/cello cases e.t.c. will have incorporated suspension in the undercarriage/wheel arrangements contributing to keeping a fine balance to an intune instrument whilst in transit various methods are: - a moulded unit to be added to the container of which the rear section has a set degree angle that houses a spring -a spring retainer and a pin through to hold fast the wheels- the front section has a 90 degree angle or thereabouts to fit the containers comer-another method is to add to the containers original mould the incorporated shape adding the various optional wheel fL-dngs as flilly explained further into the description however these well spaced apart wheel suspension assemblies are long over due -no more bottom cuts bruises and scratches that the containers suger at this present time with the half hidden bottom narrow side corner wheels-the container of sorts supports the wheels-rollers -skis-caterpillar e.t.c. There is another arrangement being unique that allows for the container to slide up and down the wheel shaft unit assembly allowing the holder to have separated apart containers to classify their goods as the bottom container is fixed. The handle assembly unit has a substantial up and down intermittent ball lock jerking movement, as well as other appropriate locking devises- as with all handles- if handles are required. The holder of the split containers arrangement has the advantage of sitting down with the shdable container at its highest point next to them eliminating unnecessary backaches if having to stoop down to a case on the floor.
2 Materials Any materials - ferrous -non-ferrous -nylon -plastics -polypropylene wood -e.t. c. intermixed material parts or one used throughout i.e. Aluminum.
