Abstract

A thick film heater (2) comprises a thick film heating track (8) provided on an electrically insulating substrate (6). An electrical contact member (16) of silver or similar is bonded to a contact receiving pad (14) of the heater track (16) by being deposited on the unfired pad and then being co-fired with the pad.
