Abstract

The device comprises of a small casing 5 which houses a battery powered audible and visual alarm 2,3,4. The casing has an eyelet 1 attatched to the outside to enable fastening to the collar of domestic pets.

2337441 COUNTRYSIDE COMIPANIONS THE INVENTION RELATES TO AN AUDIBLEIVISUAL
EARLY WARNING SYSTEM WORN ON COLLARS BY DOMESTIC CATS THAT ALERTS WILDLIFE OF WENDING ATTACK.
IT IS A WELL KNOWN FACT THAT DOMESTIC CATS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATHS OF INCALCUABLE NUMBERS OF BRITISH WILDLIFE, I.E. SMALL MAMMALS AND BIRDS. OUR INVENTION GIVES ALL CAT OWNERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HELP PRESERVE THE BRITISH WILDLIFE BY ATTACHING THE INOBSTRUSIVE COUTRYSIDE COMPANION TO THEIR CATS COLLAR.
ACCORDINGLY THE IN'VENTION PROVIDES PROTECTION FOR BRITISH WILDLIFE BY MEANS OF AUDIBLENISUAL WARNING THAT A CAT IS PRESENT,THUS ELIMINATING THE CATS MAIN HUNTING ABILITY WHICH IS STEALTH AND SURPRISE.
PREFERABLY THE COUNTRYSIDE COMPANION WILL BE A SMALL PLASTIC/NETAL DISC WORN ON A COLLAR, OPERATED BY A SMALL BATTERY.
i CLAIMS
1. A Countryside companion comprising of a casing containing a small audible and visual waming device to fit onto the collar of domestic pets to warn such animals as small mammels and birds of a predators presence.
2. A Countryside companion as claimed in 1 which is battery operated and requires no extemal power supply.
3. A Countryside companion as claimed in 1 or claim 2 having the facility to be switch on or off.
