Abstract
A wrench handle 11 has two flat elongated halves respectively extended from a curved middle portion 111 thereof in reversed directions and terminating in a respective working end 12,13 for turning bolts and nuts. The flat elongated first half and the flat elongated second half are longitudinally aligned and arranged at right angles to each other.
Description
2335877 WRENCH HANDLE n relates to a wrench handle.
The Present invention relates to a wrench, more specifically to the handle of a wrench which f 1 at h a 1 v e s arranged at right angles so that torque force can be positively applied to one end of the wrench when the other end is attached to the workpiece.
to longitudinally aligned symmetrical A regular elongated handle (open ends or bo end and one box Because the flat bar, torque forc handle but not i turn a hexagon h contact between is a line contac force can not be a n d h a s wrench is generally comprised of a flat and two working ends of same design x ends) or different designs (one open end) at both ends of the handle. elongated handle is a straight flat e is applied to one side edge of the ts face when operating the wrench to ead bolt or hexagon nut. the hand and the handle o t but not a surface con Positively applied to efficiently turn the workpiece, and the on the handle easily.
Because the f the wrench tact, torque the handle to hand may slip The present invention has been accomplished to provide a wrenc the aforesaid invention, the middle Portion h handle for a wrench which eliminates Problem. According to the present flat elongated handle has a curved which divides the handle into two symmetrical flat halves that extend from the curved rsed directions and arranged at right can grip either end of the ct a n d t h e portion in reve angles. Therefore, the han handle positively through a surface conta positively turn it when the other end is attached workpiece.
An embodiment of the Present invention wi described by way of example with accompanying drawings, in which:
11 now be reference to the Figure 1 is a perspective view of a wrench with a wrench handle constructed according to the present invention; e 2 is an applied view of the invention, showing the wrench handle held in the hand; a n d Figure 3 is a front view of the present is Referring to the various herewith, a detailed description features of a wrench handle o as follows:- drawings attached of the structural f the present invention is Referring to Figure 1, a wrench 10 is shown comprised of a flat, elongated handle 11 having two opposite ends respectively terminating in an open end 12 and a box end 13. The handle 11 has a curved portion ides the handle 11 into two S arranged at different 12 and the box end 13 to 111 on the middle. which div longitudinally alig angles. enabling th be disposed at right Because the two 11 are respectively 111 in reversed dire torque force can b the handle 11, casui turn the workpiece Figures 2 and 3, whe symmetrical halves of the handle xtended from the curved portion tions and arranged at right angles, Positively applied to one end of g the open end 12 or box end 13 to efficiently. As illustrated in the handle 11 is held in the hand and operated, the contact between the handle 11 and the hand 20 is a surface contact, therefore the hand 20 does not slip on the handle 11, and torque force can be positively applied to the handle 20 to turn the workpiece.
