Abstract

A repair fabric for pipe repair in which a curable resin is impregnated in order to rigidise such fabric in use. The fabric being formed from a non-woven fabric which is heat shrunk to reduce fibre interstice spacing and increase capillary penetration of such fabric by the curable resin. The fabric being heat shrunk by up to 25 % in terms of the fabric density increase and typically at a temperature of 145-160 ‹C.
