One object of the present invention is to improve the effects of various substances by means of magnetic minerals. After being processed or mixed with other materials, the magnetic mineral can be applied to various products in order to achieve improved effects.
According to the present invention there is provided a ceramic magnetic mineral material produced from a powder and comprising aluminium, zirconium oxide and nitrogen sUicide, the material being heat resistant and capable of emitting far-infrared rays.
Today's society is enjoying advanced technology. However, too rapid development has brought about many problems, such as serious pollution to the environment, modern diseases, and extremely high consumptions of energy. Since no solutions to these problems have been found, people still live in an uncomfortable state. Also, the condition of the earth is deteriorating quickly because the environment is being greatly damaged. Scientists have estimated that with the current speed of damage, the ozone layer of the earth will be totally ruined within several decades. Humans will be completely exposed to ultraviolet rays and the incidence of cancer will increase significantly. To overcome these problems, the inventor has made great efforts through continued research and development and has finally 1, 1 1 1 2 devised a way of using magnetic mineral materials in accordance with the invention to improve the effects of substances. The material mainly used in this invention is a precision ceramic magnet comprising aluminium, zirconium oxide, and nitrogen silicide, which is burned into powder through liquid pressure (trumpet-type pressing), hot static water pressure (HIP), and hot pressing. In addition to constant stability and good resistance to high heat, this magnetic mineral will emit permanent far-infrared rays to block radiations and ultraviolet rays. The inventor has thus made use of those properties and applied the magnetic mineral material to a wide range of products for environmental, medical and energy-saving purposes as well as kitchen utensils. The following is a detailed description of these applications.
1.
Kitchen Utensils A conventional non-sticking cooking utensil is usually coated with two layers of Teflon (Registered Trade Mark) before surface treatment. However, tests have shown that Teflon can release gaseous toxic substances which make it unsuitable for long-time cooking. If magnetic mineral in accordance with the invention is applied to the utensil body prior to the treatment, the utensil will withstand high temperatures for longer periods. Moreover, the far-infrared rays emitted by the magnetic mineral material will remove chemicals from vegetables and shorten the cooking time; the result is remarkable. The magnetic mineral can also be applied to general utensils made of iron or wood in order to resist corrosion and lengthen service life.
2.
Medical Purpose Surveys show that presently available cosmetics are mostly made from chemicals, some of which contain toxic substances such as mercury which will damage human skin. It has been proven by experiments that magnetic mineral material of this invention has an excellent effect of anti- l- 3 inflammation and disinfection. Making the material into cosmetics or skincare products provides a medical cure for pimples. Furthermore, its farinfrared rays can effectively curb the growth of cancer cells. The magnetic mineral material also can be applied to hand or back massaging devices. When such a massaging device is used to massage the body, hands, feet, and back, its far-infrared rays will help eliminate fatigue and reduce sores and aches. If the magnetic mineral material is applied to medical gauze and bandages, it will help shorten the recovery time of surgery and relieve pain.
3. Energy Saving Transportation vehicles which are used nowadays, such as automobiles and motorcycles, mainly run on gasoline. Incornplete burning of gasoline leads to air pollution through the emission of waste gases and shortened service lives for automobiles and motorcycles. Magnetic mineral material of this invention can be applied to the automobile or motorcycle pipes, engine, and carburettor. In the production process of the carburettor, an appropriate amount of magnetic mineral material is added by sintering. One end of the carburettor is connected to the engine, whereas the other end is connected to the oil pipe. On the oil pipe near the carburettor, there are two plastic semi-circular collars inside which magnetic mineral material is provided. When the two semi-circular collars are installed onto the oil pipe, a circular groove will appear at each end. Then, O- rings are put onto the grooves to secure the two collars. This device has been tested by the inventor, and two test reports have been presented. These reports show that the magnetic mineral can magnetize gasoline to reach a combustion efficiency of 98% or above before emissions occur; this does not only significantly improve air quality but also lengthens the service life of the automobile or motorcycle engine and reduces breakdowns of components. The magnetic mineral material is also applicable to the internal combustion engine. In the production process of the internal combustion engine, the magnetic mineral is spray-coated on the engine interior to increase the 1 E1 4 service life of the engine. Besides, the magnetic mineral material can be made into a gas burner or other cooking burners. When a burner is turned on, combustion of the gas will be more complete due to the magnetic mineral. As a result, consumption of gas is reduced, heat is stronger, and cooking time is shortened, proving that the magnetic mineral has the effect of saving energy.
4. Environmental Protection Today, water pollution and garbage problems have become big concerns for everyone. But there is still no effective solution for improving the environment. At present, garbage disposal and water treatment are expensive and bring only minimal results. If magnetic mineral material of this invention is applied, it will produce a remarkable improvement. Take, for example, water treatment. General process of water treatment is: precipitation - filtration. Although this process can filter out most of the harmful substances, it cannot completely remove certain unwanted chemicals. When the magnetic mineral is used in constructing the precipitating pool and purifying pool for the purpose of water treatment, its far-infrared rays will eliminate harmful substances and chemicals such as polychlorinated biphenyl, and purify and turn hard water into usable and drinkable soft water. The magnetic mineral material also can remove unpleasant food odours. Incorporating the magnetic mineral into the fence or wall around or near a waste disposal site will remove the unpleasant odour of garbage and thus improve air quality. Furthermore, if the inside surface of water pipe-line is coated with the magnetic mineral material, the chemical odour of running water will disappear, and water will be purified by the magnetic mineral and become more suitable for drinking. Also, the inside surface of incinerators or furnaces can be coated with the magnetic mineral; to remove toxic chemical substances produced by combustion of waste and garbage, including dioxins from burning plastics, also benzene rings and chloric substances, will be removed before the waste gas is 1 emitted. Then, air pollution will be lessened. The magnetic mineral is indeed environmentally friendly.
5. Keeping Fresh Food The shelf-life of foodstuff being refrigerated in general households, various food refrigerating vehicles or i ndustrial storage devices is usually short. When the inside of a refrigerator is coated with magnetic mineral material of this invention, the shelf-life of food will be extended. Besides, the magnetic mineral can absorb unpleasant food odours. Therefore, the original flavour of food stored in a refrigerator will not be adversely affected by such odours, and the shelf-life of food will be lengthened while food safety and sanitation is maintained.
6. Anti-radiation Effect In today's environment, radiation has a great impact on human beings. Magnetic mineral material of this invention can resist ultraviolet rays and radiations. When made into a heat isolating membrane for, for example, an automobile window, it not only blocks ultraviolet rays but also, because of its heat resistance, it prevents temperatures rising inside a vehicle, The magnetic mineral material also can be applied to the television or computer protective screen. Thus, radiations will be blocked by the magnetic mineral contained in the protected screen.
7. Foodstuff Additive The inventorhas found through researches that the meatof achicken, duck or pig fed with foodstuff containing a small amount of magnetic mineral will taste better than before. Therefore, the magnetic mineral can be used as a foodstuff additive to improve meat quality of domestic animals and improve the appearance of the foodstuff.
1 6 8. Water Piping The inside of the piping within a blast furnace can be coated with the magnetic mineral material in order to soften the water, prevent carbonization and crystallization on the pipe wall, and lengthen its service life. Furthermore, it will also prevent the carbonization and crystallization on the inner wall of the blast furnace and thus reduce the possibility of explosion.
1 11 9. Hygiene Adding a small amount of magnetic mineral to hot bath-water will lead to a better blood circulation of a human body and provide enhanced physical treatment to improve human health and relieve fatigue.
10. Incorporated into the Eyeglass Frame or Lenses When the magnetic mineral of this invention is incorporated into the eyeglass frame and lenses, its permanent far-infrared rays will relieve eye fatigue a nd protect the pupils of the wearer, giving a feeling of calmness.
11. Industrial Fuel The magnetic mineral can change properties of substances. Addition of magnetic mineral to various kinds of fuels will result in complete combustion and full usage of those fuels. It not only reduces the consumption of fuel but also reduces air pollution.
12. Electric Wiring Electric wire coated with magnetic mineral of the invention will provide improved electrical conductivity and a smoother flow of electric current. If a ceramic conductor is coated with the magnetic mineral, the 7 electrical conductivity is greatly improved.
13. Drinking Fountain If the piping of a drinking fountain is coated with the magnetic mineral, the drinking water from that fountain will help adjust the human body and improve human health.
It can be seen from the above description that this invention can be applied extensively and the results are remarkable.
