Abstract

A lamp assembly having a lamp holder 20, a decoration lamp 21 disposed on the lamp holder, and a socket shell 10 receiving the lamp holder. The socket shell 10 has a protruding bar 11 disposed in an inner periphery of the socket shell, and two curved lugs 12 formed on two opposite sides of the socket shell. Each of the curved lugs 12 has a slot 121. The lamp holder 20 has a periphery groove 22 to receive the protruding bar 11. Two wires 31 pass through a bottom of the lamp holder 20 and the respective slots 121. This gives improved positional stability of a decorative lamp as part of an assembly of, e.g. Christmas tree lamps. An embodiment having a slot hole (13, figure 6) in the base of the socket shell and a corresponding plug seat (40, figure 6) is described.

Description

TITLE:LAMP ASSEMBLY BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a lamp assembly.
More particularly, the present invention relates to a lamp assembly which contains a plurality of decoration lamps.
A conventional lamp assembly for a Christmas tree has a plurality of outer casings. However, each outer casing should position two additional wires in addition to two connected wires. It is not easy to position the wires stably.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a lamp assembly to position the wires stably.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective exploded view of a lamp assembly of a first preferred embodiment; FIG. 2 is a perspective assembly view of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 is a perspective exploded view of a decoration lamp and an additional wire; FIG. 4 is a perspective assembly view of a decoration lamp and an additional wire; FIG. 5 is a perspective assembly view of a plurality of decoration lamps; FIG. 6 is a perspective exploded view of a decoration lamp, an an additional wire, and a plug seat; FIG. 7 is a perspective assembly view of FIG. 6.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a lamp assembly comprises a lamp holder 20, a decoration lamp 21 disposed on the lamp holder 20, and a socket shell 10 receiving the lamp holder 20. The socket shell 10 has a protruded bar 11 disposed in an inner periphery of the socket shell 10, and two curved lugs 12 formed on two opposite laterals of the socket shell 10. Each of the curved lugs 12 has a slot 121. The lamp holder 20 has a periphery groove 22 to receive the protruded bar 11. Two wires 31 pass through a bottom of the lamp holder 20 and the respective slots 121.
Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the socket shell 10 further comprises a bottom slot hole 13 to receive an additional wire 32.
Referring to FIG. 5, two wires 31 are connected to two corresponding lamp holder 20. Two additional wires 32 are connected to two wires 31 also.
Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, a plug seat 40 is disposed on a bottom of the socket shell 10. The plug seat 40 has two foldable positioning plates 43, two opposite periphery recesses 41 and two opposite periphery notches 42. The foldable positioning plates 43 are folded upward to be inserted in the bottom slot hole 13.
Therefore, the lamp assembly can position the wires stably. The wires can form a net without tangling.
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. Any modification of the embodiments according to the scopes of the present invention should belong to the present invention. The scopes of the present invention should be determined by the claims.
