Description

PLANT TREE Background to Invention The Plant Tree is designed to be a multipurpose item, with a number of profile combinations to meet particular requirements.
It is an ideal spacesaver for those with limited garden area or no garden at all. The Plant Tree will hold TWENTY STRAWBERRY PLANTS in a space of approximatley one square foot, this enables a wide variety of plants, flowers, herbs and fruits to be growen in a limited space. The Plant Tree can be put directley into the ground for static use, in a suitable plant pot or container for green houses/indoor use. It can also be hung or screwed to walls etc for displays.
The alternative profiles mean the Plant Tree will also hold plant pots, mounted vertically or horizontally giving a wide number of growing, decorative and display options, such as hanging gardens, around door and window frames, green houses, pagodas etc.
DESCRIPTION Brief Description of Drawings Fig 1. Shows the Plant Tree in its open/flat position, with circular profiles, crease lines, locking tabs and slits. Made from die cut polypropylene it is both light, strong and fully recyclable.
Fig 2 & 3. Show the plant Tree in the process of being folded along the various crease lines then locked together to form the final item.
Fig 4 & 5. Show the Plant Tree in use, placed in a plant pot as a mobile system or directly into the ground.
Fig 6 & 7. Show the Plant Tree with alternative profiles. This is suitable for plant pots to be held in a vertical or horizontal position, giving a number of possible options as previously described in the background section.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION The Plant Tree gives a number of possibilities for growing and displaying plants, herbs, flowers and fruits in a limited space. Using the plant Tree as a static, mobile or hanging system will give a number of options for the gardener.
Fig 1. Shows the Plant Tree in its flat position as in 1A with locking tabs 1B and locking slots 1C along with crease lines 1D and circular profiles 1E Fig 2 & 3 Show the Plant Tree in its folded position, folding along crease lines 2D locking tabs 2B are located and locked into slots 2C to give final construction as in Fig 3.
Fig 4 & 5 Show the plant Tree in situe placed into the ground 5H as a static display Fig 5, or placed in a plant pot 4G as a mobile system Fig 4. The required number of plants 4F are placed into profiles 4E and into the top 41 and pot 4g.
Fig 6 & 7 Show the Plant Tree 6A & 7A with alternative profiles as in 6E to take plant pots 6J in a vertical position Fig 6 or horizontal as in Fig 7.

Claims (2)

1. The Plant Tree is an innovative, lightweight & versatile design, giving new dimensions for the presentation, display and growing of a variety of plants, flowers, fruits etc. With its various profiles it presents a number of options for use indoors, outdoors, static or mobile displays.
2. Made from polypropylene or other suitable materials to give the required size and shape ie square, triangular etc. The plant Tree is constructed as previousley described in Fig 1-3 and then used as required Fig 4-5 with the alternative profiles Fig 6-7. The Plant Tree or pots are filled with a suitable soil/compost for the chosen plants.
