Abstract

A disposable toilet lining paper has a coating of soluble biodegradable germicide detergent 3 on one side, with perforations 2 to give aid to a folding action when defecated upon after being placed with the coated side 3 downward in the inner howl 5 of a water closet toilet pan. The detergent content in the coating 3 cleans the inner bowl 5 and trap 12 of the toilet pan whilst the engulfing action prevents faeces marks thereupon. The germicide content in the coating 3 is an aid to sanitation and the biodegradable properties contained therein cooperate with the environment. Disintegration takes place when the flushing action discharges the cleaning paper 1 via the trap 12 into the soil outlet pipe 9.

Description

SILT PAN Cw PAPER This invention relates to cleaning paper activated by the usage and flushing action of a water closet toilet pan.
The inner bowl of toilet pans in public and private lavatories, toilets and bathroams in buildings houses and shops are cleaned by manual labour using fluid and/or powder detergents with cloths and/or brushes of various shapes and size. This is wasteful of water, causes wear and tear on cloths and brushes, and is time consuming.
According to the present invention there is provided a shaped section of water disintegrating paper coated to adhere and solidify on one side with a soluble biodegradable germacide detergent in paste/paint form, means by perforation to aid a folding/engulfing action after usage and upon completion, disintegration, following the toilet pan flushing thereof.
A specific embodiement of the invention will now be described by way of the accompanying drawing in which : Figure 1 shows the top side of the cleaning paper and a perforation diagram.
Figure 2 shows the underside of the cleaning paper and a perforation diagram.
Diagonal lines depict detergent coating.
Figure 3 illustrates a toilet pan in clear glass connected to a section of soil outlet pipe.
Figure 4 illustrates an alternative shape of the cleaning paper.
Figure 5 illustrates an alternative shape of the cleaning paper.
Figure 6 illustrates an alternative shape of the cleaning paper.
Figure 7 illustrates an alternative shape of the cleaning paper.
Figure 8 illustrates an alternative shape of the cleaning paper.
Refering to the drawing the cleaning paper 1 comprises a shaped section of water disintegrating paper with a front edge/rim 4 and perforations 2 in, for example a diagram as shown in Fig 1. One side of the cleaning paper 1 is coated to adhere and solidify with a soluble biodegradable germacide detergent in the form of a paste/paint depicted in Fig 2 by diagonal lines 3. The perforations 2 penetrate the detergent coating 3.
Alternatives to the shape shown in Fig 1 and Fig 2 are available and illustrated in Fig 4 Fig 5 Fig 6 Fig 7 and Fig 8 however the area, the detergent coating 3 and the perforations 2 remain consistent and the front edge/rim 4 is required throughout.
In order to effect the cleaning action the cleaning paper 1 is placed flat, coated side 3 facing downward, with the edge/rim 4 adjacent to the front 13 of the toilet pan inner bowl 5 below the inner rim 6 to rest above the trapper water 7 adapting to the form of the inner bowl 5 by the gravitational pull on its weight forming for example a shallow paper bowl with aid from the perforations 2 as shown in Fig 3 prior to usage of the toilet pan for defecation. Following defecation into the toilet pan and onto the cleaning paper 1 and including the used toilet paper from the personal cleaning practice (not shown) a folding engulfing action occurs in the cleaning paper 1 and with the added weight of the faeces and related matter combined with the gravitational pull and perforations 2 the cleaning paper 1 sinks into the trapped water 7 where the narrower confines of the toilet pan trap 12 combine with the perforations 2 to encompass the faeces and related matter in the cleaning paper 1 leaving the coated side 3 outward.(not shown).
The normal flushing of the toilet pan can now proceed to discharge the cleaning paper 1 with contents out of the toilet pan trap 12 in the direction of the arrow 11 to the soil outlet pipe 9 cleaning enroute then disintegrating in the soil outlet pipe 9. (not shown).
Prevention of faeces marks on the toilet pan inner bowl 5 and trap 12 coincides with the cleaning action, whilst the germacide content in the detergent coating 3 is an aid to sanition.
