The unisex Reflex soc is printed with the Reflexology/Shiatsu points on the sole, dorsal and ankle, and is a diagnostic, treatment and teaching aid. It comes in four different sizes. The soc's come boxed with full instructions for use and a natural foot balm formulated with herbs and plant extracts which remove toxins out of the body. The soc is intended for use with the book which shows how the thumb can manipulate the points indicated in the book, certain illnesses can be treated with these methods.
Description
'YE REFLEX SOCK I am a Reflexologist, and it concerned me that many people were trying to give themselves a
Reflexology treatment without proper knowledge as to what they were doing. Having taught reflexology for a number of years, and having seen how easily Students worked the Reflex points once they had drawn on the feet, I decided that a sock would be an ideal medium to use.
The sock will be worn on the foot and it will display all the Reflex points so that a secondary person can give a home style Reflexology Treatment by means of the Reflex Points displayed on the sock.
The socks will come in pairs as there are certain Reflex Points on one foot which are not reflected on the other foot. Example of this are the kidneys, we have two kidneys so there is one reflected in each foot, whereby we only have one Spleen, so this is only Reflected in the one foot.
The sock will be made of a nylon/lycra material and it will extend approximately six inches up the leg. Screen printed onto the material will be all the relevant Reflexology\ Shiatsu points which a Reflexologist would use in order to give a reflexology treatment to the feet.
The reflex points will be artistically drawn by my own artist, and the name of the point will also be included.
The Human Body has eleven systems, all of which will be demonstrated by the sock, so enabling the user to reflex the feet. They are as follows.
1. THE NERVOUS SYSTEM 2. THE SKELETAL SYSTEM 3. THE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM 4. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM 5. THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM 6. THE URINARY SYSTEM 7. THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM 8. THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM 9. THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM 10. THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM 11. THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM addition these independant systems will be colour coded for even easier reference.ie;
1. THE NERVOUS SYSTEM MAUVE
2. THE SKELETAL SYSTEM YELLOW
3. THE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM ORANGE
4. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM LUE 5. THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM RED
6. THE URINARY SYSTEM AQUA
7. THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM GREEN
8. THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM BROWN
9. THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM DARK GREEN
10. THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM GREY
11. THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM DEEP PINK
This numerical order is also the order of work procedure, as it is important that each system of
the body is reflexed in this way. i.e. one must relax the Nervous System before any of the
other areas are massaged.
There will also be relevant precautions given by means of an information booklet which will
accompany the sock, these will deter people from massaging certain reflex Points if they have
certain illnesses or may be pregnant.
Example;
DO NOT MASSAGE DARK GREEN AREAS IF YOU SUSPECT YOU ARE OR IF YOU
ARE PREGNANT.
DO NOT MASSAGE MAUVE AREA AT TOP OF BIG TOE IF YOU SUFFER EPILEPSY
A detailed booklet will accompany the sock this will explain the principles of Reflexology, and
how the body can benefit from a treatment to the feet. It will also explain any precautions
which need to be taken and why.
The inventor has also been a Nurse, so she will add to the book information regarding certain
illnesses which may be successfully treated using this procedure. There will be Vitamin and
Supplement advice within the book too.
At the end of the treatment the performer will be told by means of the explanation chapter of
the book, how to remove the sock, and massage the whole of the foot, with a specially
formulated Foot Massage Cream, which will be available with the socks.
SIZES
The socks will be manufactured in both female and male sizes, because of course the Reflex points will be found in different places according to foot size. i.e.
LADIES small size 4/5
med size 5/6
large size 7/8
MENS small size 7/8
med size 9/10
large size 11/12
