Abstract

The diary has pages 2 formed by an expandable pocket 5 printed on the front (or rear) and having a viewing cutaway 7 to reveal the contents of the pocket.

Description

Diary with integral file pouches This invention relates to a Diary which has a self contained filing pouches or pockets.
Personal Organisers already have the flexibility for the addition of file pockets to hold hard copies for example, of agenda for meetings due or past. These pockets are relatively expensive to purchase, take time to fit and obstruct the view of the open diary, especially with week to view diaries.
According to the present invention there is provided a diary where each printed page is the front (or rear) of a file pouch, with a means provided for observing the pouch contents, a means to allow for pouch expansion and a means for securing filed papers or other media.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Fig 1 shows in perspective the Diary opened to show it's essential constructional detail.
Referring to the drawing the Diary comprises a front and rear cover 1 and pages 2 that have a self contained filing folder, wallet, pocket or pouch 5. This pouch is loosely bound 3 to allow for expansion and a means provided for expansion of any other side of a file enclosure such as page bottom 4. There is also a means provided to view the contents of a file pouch without removal for example in this case a cut-a-way pagefront 7 to reveal any contents. In order to secure the filed contents the covers 1 may be fitted with a method of closure such as the strap and popper 6 shown.

Claims (3)

  1. Claims
    A Diary with integral file pouches comprising front and rear covers, a means of binding expandable file pouches which in turn act as the Diary pages for writing on.
  2. 2 A Diary with integral file pouches as claimed in Claim 1 wherein a securing means is provided to retain any filed contents.
  3. 3 A Diary with integral file pouches as claimed in Claim I or Claim 2 wherein a means are provided to view the contents of a file pouch 4 A Diary with integral file pouches as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 or Claim 3 but supplied without covers and binder to enable insertion into a pre-existing loose-leaf binder.
