Abstract

A saddle horse has a frame carrying separate sections A and B of V-section, one inverted with respect to the other, whereby a saddle may be supported either way up for cleaning. The channel section B is carpet lined to protect the saddle top and a fixed shelf C is provided in the base of the frame.

Description

SADDLE CLEANING HORSE This invention is a saddle cleaning horse.
For years a conventional saddle horse has been used for the storage of saddles. However, saddles are large and bulky objects to hold, making thorough cleaning and inspection for damage and wear difficult and time consuming. A saddle is easily dropped, resulting in damage and/or soilage.
This invention holds a saddle, so that the top, underside, flaps straps buckles and panel (see figure 6) can be cleaned, without damaging or altering the saddle in any way.
The attached description and diagrams show how this can be achieved.
DESCRIPTION Figure 1 shows an overall view of the saddle horse. A and B show the position of the for cleaning the topside (A) and underside (B). It also shows the position of the storage area (C).
Figure 2 shows the saddle in position at A and B.
The saddle at position A allows cleaning and inspection of the topside without manual holding.
The saddle at position B is placed upside down fitting into the shape.
This end is carpeted to protect the saddle. The saddle is held steady in the inverted position without any aid or manual support. When in this position, the saddle flaps hang down automatically, showing the girth straps, buckle guards and bottom panels, so making it easy to clean and/or inspect.
The "V" in which the saddle fits will take every size of saddle available, without any adjustment.
The design also incorporates a shelf (C) which can be used for the storage of cleaning materials etc.
Figure 3 shows the saddle horse from the side.
Point A shows the position of the saddle for cleaning the outside, seat and top.
Point B is where the saddle is inverted for cleaning the underneath parts, girth leathers and base.
Figure 4 shows the end of the horse illustrating the "V" shape in which the saddle sits. This "V" is carpeted to prevent any scratching of the leather.
Figure 5 is the aerial view showing the legs wider than the top, to give strength, balance and stability.
Figure 8a shows a srde view of a saddle.
Figure to snows detajis Ot an inverted saddle.
