Abstract

A case for a mobile telephone has elastic portions 1 to allow the case to accommodate different sizes of telephone. The Portions may allow stretching in the vertical and/or horizontal directions. The case may be reversible and have openings 5 eg adjacent the earpiece or mouthpiece of an enclosed telephone.

Description

THE LATERAL AND VERTICALLY STRETCHING REVERSIBLE MOBILE TELEPHONE CASE.
Description: - Lateral Stretching; An elastic gusset is incorporated into the back of the case to allow for the accommodation of phones of wider and thicker dimensions.
- Vertical Stretching: An elastic strap fastens to the top and bottom ends of the case, holding the mobile phone in a secure position, and allowing bilateral (equal) stretching if the mobile telephone is slightly longer than the designated phone size. It can accommodate telephones of upto 35% greater than the designated size.
- Total Symmetry: The case has total symmetry in order to make it potentially reversible, thus enabling (potentially) the decoration of both side of the case. The axis of symmetry is shown in the accompanying diagrams - Rear Fastening zip closure: Allows for secure and compact case closure, and can be made reversible if need be.
*Miscellaneous apertures allow total use of the mobile telephone without removal from its case e.g. mouthpiece, ear piece and dial screen as illustrated The same design principles have been applied to the Flip-style case for Flip-type phones, and has been adapted accordingly (shown in the appended illustrations).

  1. THE LATERAL AND VERTICALLY STRETCHING REVERSIBLE MOBILE TELEPHONE CASE.
    Claim: The submitted telephone case's novelty lies in its working mechanism (as illustrated).
    The submitted design removes/reduces the barriers of total phone-size specificity.
