Abstract

A SKATEBOARD IS BASICALLY A BOARD WITH FOUR WHEELS ATTACHED TO THE BASE. THE BALL AND BRACKET UNIT IS ATTACHED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BOARD BY MEANS OF BOLTS THROUGH THE BRACKET AND THROUGH THE BOARD.

Description

DESCRIPTION THE SKATEBOARD ATTACHMENT I HAVE INVENTED IS A PLASTIC BALL THAT IS FITTED TO A METAL BRACKET. THERE ARE HOLES IN THE BRACKET TO ALLOW THE UNIT TO BE BOLTED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF A SKATEBOARD IN THE CENTRE. THE UNIT, BEING LARGER THAN THE WHEELS ON THE SKATEBOARD, WILL LIFT THE WHEELS OFF THE GROUND THEREFORE, WHEN THE PERSON STANDS ON THE BOARD, THERE WILL BE TWO WHEELS ON THE GROUND PLUS THE BALL. THIS WOULD BE THE BACK OR THE FRONT WHEELS ON THE GROUND DEPENDING WHERE THE PERSON STANDS, THEREFORE, IF A PERSON WAS TO STAND TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE BOARD AND APPLY PRESSURE ON THE FRONT, THIS WOULD MAKE A PIVOT ACTION SO THE BOARD COULD BE TURNED IN ANY DIRECTION IMMEDIATELY.

Claims (3)

1. I CLAIM THAT THE BALL AND BRACKET THAT IS FITTED UNDER A SKATEBOARD IS UNIQUE IN THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO OTHER ON THE MARKET.
2. I CLAIM THE BALL AND BRACKET BEING FITTED UNDER THE SKATEBOARD WILL ALLOW A PERSON TO RIDE ON THE BOARD AND WILL ALLOW THEM TO PERFORM NEW TRICKS THAT COULD NOT BE DONE ON A BASIC BOARD.
3. I CLAIM THE IDEA OF THE BALL AND BRACKET AND IT IS THIS I APPLY FOR A PATENT AND THE IDEA OF FITTING IT UNDER A SKATEBOARD.
