Description

Retractable totting mechanism.
This invention relates to a device for towing one vehicle with another.
There are simple toe ropes, belts & chains on the market at present but this form of taxing belt is retractable leaving just a hook end visible when not in use.
The invention in question consists of a length of belt with a hook, or similar fastening device, at one end with a mechanism at the other to cause the belt to retract when not in use. At the retracting end there is a bracket to mount it on to a vehicle.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1. Shows fully extended tow belt with hook on one end & bracket on the other.

Claims (2)

Claims.
1. A retractable towing belt with a means of attaching to another vehicle at one end and a retracting mechanism at the other.
2. A retractable towing belt, as in claim 1, with a bracket mounted belt retracting mechanism at the other.
