Abstract

Board game apparatus comprises a board laid out to an endless segmented track, at least some of the segments bearing instructions to a player to receive a piece of a representation of a rainbow, markers, dice, instruction cards and a plurality of sets of pieces each set of which can be made up into a representation of a rainbow.

1 DICE 1 DICE SHAKER 6 BLOCKS ONTO WHICH THE RAINBOW SECTIONS ARE PLACED WHEN WON BY EACH PLAYER 42 RAINBOW COLOURED SECTIONS i.e. 6 TIMES RED/YELOWIP:NK/GREEN/ ORANGE/PURPLE/BLUE INSTRUCTION CARDS WHICH ARE BONUS OR PENALTY DEPENDING UPON THE NATURE OF CONTENT AND INSTRUCTION 6 COUNTESS OR ROUND PLASTIC DISKS ONE OF THESE COUNTERS IS USED BY EACH PLAYER FOR MOVING FORWARD AROUND THE BOARD THE NUMBER OF SQUARES INDICATED BY THE NUMBER THROWN ON THE DICE.
REo1.EACH PLAYER HAS 7 COLOURED SEMI-CIRCLES CAPABLE OF BEING INTERLOCKED ONTO THE BLOCK IN FRONT OF THEM.
2.EACH PLAYER SELECTS A COUNTER AND THROWS THE DICE IN TURN AND MOVES FORWARD (CLOCKWISE FROM THE START SQUARE) THE APPROPRIATE NUMBER OF SQUARES SHOWN ON THE DICE.
3.YOU CAN ONLY COLLECT A SES-CIRCULAR COLOUR SECTION GOING FORWARD (CLOCKWISE).
4.A COLOUR SECTION CAN NOT BE COLLECTED UNLESS THE COUNTER LANDS ON THE COLOURED SQUARE. i.e. IF INSTRUCTION CARD STATES MOVE ON 2 SQUARES AND A COLOUR IS PASSED THINS DOES NOT ENTITLE THE PLAYER TO COLLECT A COLOUR SECTION.
5.DETENTION SQUARE MEANS MISS THREE TURNS OR THROW TWO CONSEQUTIVE SIXES TO PROCEED NEXT TIME TO ADVANCE.
MOVE BACK TO DETENTION SQUARE IF PAST IT AND INSTRUCTED TO MOVE TO IT ON INSTRUCTION CARD.
MOVE FORWARD TO DETENTION SQUARE IF INSTRUCTED TO ON INSTRUCTION CARD.
6.IF WHEN MOVING FORWARD AFTER THROWING THE DICE YOU LAND ON A COLOURED SQUARE THIS COLOUR SECTION CAN BE COLLECTED AND ADDED TO YOUR BLOCK.
7.IF LANDING ON A BLANK SQUARE- STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND AWAIT YOUR NEXT THROW OF THE DICE.
8.IF LANDING ON A SQUARE MARKED 'TAKE A CARD' TAKE THE CARD FROM THE TOP OF THE PACK IN THE CENTRE OF THE BOARD. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CARD AND RETURN THE CARD TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PACK.
9.IF YOU PASS THE START SQUARE KEEP PROCEEDING AROUND THE BOARD UNTIL ONE PLAYER COLLECTS ALL SEVEN COLOURS TO COMPLETE THE RAINBOW AND WIN THE GAME.

  5. 5. 6 BLOCKS USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH CLAIM ONE ABOVE ON TO WHICH THE RAINBOW SEGMENTS ARE PLACED.
