Condensers.-A dielectric for electric condensers consists of a material such as paraffin wax, having a negative temperature coefficient, and gum damar which has a positive temperatu.re coefficient, the proportions being such that the temperature coefficient of the resulting dielectric is substantially zero. A suitable proportion is 3 to 5 per cent of gum damar.
