Abstract

A mobile living space in the form of a tent (Fig 1) has a framework which when disassembled can be used in part for forming part of a hand trolley (Fig 3) for carrying the tent and fittings therefor. The trolley can be opened within the canopy of the tent, which has a ground sheet (G) which can be converted into a bag. The box-like body (E) of the trolley can be unfolded to form an insulating base for the sleeping area, and when folded forms a seat, or a support for a washing facility or a toilet. A water container (F) with a tap is also provided. A further container (Fig 9, not shown), with a lid, is provided to sit in a recess in the body of the trolley (see Fig 3), the container acting as a storage box, a wash basin or a toilet.

Description

A MINIDOM DESCRIPTION A Minidom is a Temporary/Emergency living space, which is disassembled, and reassembled, as a Trolley, and case, for mobility.
A mtntdom is a mobile living space as shown in Fig 1 in its constructed form Fig 1/A is a skylight, Fig 1/B is a canopy, Fig 1/C, and 1/D, are entrances, Fig 1/E is the body of the trolley, which unfolds to form the base of the sleeping area, and when folded makes a seat, washing facility, and a toilet. Fig 1/F is a water contianer with:tap Fig 1/G is a ground sheet which also doubles as a bag, Fig l/H. and 1/I, are air-vents, Fig 1J are heavy duty straps, Figl/S are eyelets for fastening, Fig 1/L are pockets, Fig 1/M is a pocket for name or messages, Fig 1/N is a tubular frame.
Fig 2 shows the componant parts of the canopy, Fig 1/B as discribed in Fig 1, which is laid on frame (Fig 1/N Fig 4), and secured to ground sheet (Fig 1/G Fig 6), which is then secured to ground, or a fixed structure by eyelets Fig 1/K or heavy duty straps, Fig 1/J.
Fig 3 shows the trolley in a constructed form. Fig 3/A is the body of the trolley, Fig 3/B shows a detachable water contianer with tap, Fig 3/C, and Fig 3/E, shows disassembled frame Fig 1/N which is used to form part of the trolley. Fig 3/F is a hinged lid which when raised in position as shown in Fig 3 will hold detachable water contianer Fig 1/F or doubles as seat when lowered. Fig 3/G is a recess for contianer shown in Fig 9 with lid Fig 8 this container is used as wash basin, or toilet facility which may contian disposeable liners.
Fig 4 Shows constructed frame which canopy (Fig 1/B Fig2) is laid over.
The frame made of lightweight tubular sections is disassembled to form part of trolley (Fig 1/E Fig 3).
Fig 5 shows trolley (Fig 1/E Fig 3) in an open position. The trolley can be opened inside the canopy (Fig 1/B Fig 2) and inside the ground sheet (Fig 1/G Fig 6), this will extend sleeping area, and provide increased ground insulation. Sections A, B, C, of Fig 5 will be hinged and have fasteners to hold it in each of its positions.
DESCRIPTION cont, Fig 6 shown also as (Fig 1/G Fig 6/A) is a ground sheet which is opened and laid inside of canopy (Fig 1/B Fig 2), and fastened by eyelets Fig 6/E. The ground sheet folds up to make a waterproof bag, by means of fasteners Fig 6/B which also has an handel Fig 6/C.
This bag can then be placed inside of the trolley as part of its storage, or may be placed on the lid of the constructed trolley, Fig 3.
Fig 7 is a detachable water contianer with tap which will attach to the outside of trolley when being transported, or within. It can also be attached to lid of trolley as shown in Fig 1/F, or placed in a pocket Fig 1/L, or to the constructed frame (Fig 1/N Fig 4).
Fig 8 is a sealable lid to attach to contianer shown in Fig 9, it may also be used to cover recess in trolley in the open position shown in Fig 5/B to add insulation tothe hase.
Fig 9 is a contianer with sealable lid Fig 8, which locates into recess shown in (Fig 1 Fig 3/G),it can he used as a storage box,-or asa wash basin, or as a toilet. It may have disposeable liners for hygene.
Fig 10 is an arieal view of connected minidoms. Minidoms can be connected in various configarations and in any number. This will increace their stability Fig 11 shows a side view of three connected minidoms.
