Abstract
A bottle heater, suitable for heating a baby bottle 9, includes a double-layered wall and is supplied with a 12 volt heating element 4 such that the heater may be operated from the power supply of an automobile via a cigar lighter plug 8. Preferably the double-layered wall is formed by an outer plastic skin 1 and an inner plastic casing 2. The heater may include a thermostat switch 5 to control the temperature and a light emitting diode 3 to show when the desired temperature has been reached. A lid and a zip 7 may also be provided.
Description
Mobile Infant Bottle Heater
My invention relates to the Mobile Infant Bottle Heater (figure 1). It can have a cylindrical or rectangular double cavity hard plastic casing insulated to contain heat. The outside of the casing is covered by a tight fitting soft quilted plastic skin (item 1) with a zipper at the top to form the lid so enabling it to be closed securley.
Inside the unit will contain a 12 volt thermostatically controlled heating element (item 4), which is moulded into the internal wall of the casing. The thermostat switch (item 5) will have various temperature settings marked on the out side for accurate control, with a Light Emmiting Diode (item 3) to display the reaching of the desired temperature.
The 12 volt power source for the unit will be via a two-ply 12 volt electrical cable (item 10) with a fused universal cigar lighter plug (item 8) so enabling use via an automobile power outlet.
A specific embodiment of the invention is now described, by way of example with reference to the drawings enclosed.

with an infant bottle in place.
Figure 2. Illustrates the cross section from above,
of the bottle heater without the bottle.
Figure 3 Illustrates the schematic wiring diagram
for the bottle heater described.
