Abstract

A punch/kick bag has a central passage through which a floor mounts pole can pass and suspension means at its top so that it can be mounted upon the pole.

Description

SPORT PUNCH AND KICK BAG DGSCRIPTION This invention relates to a sport punch and kick bag.
Sport punch. and kick bags, used as a training aid in boxing and various martial arts, are solid cylindrical shaped with chains attached to the top. The bag is suspended by the chains from a bracket fixed to a. wall or ceiling.
The existing bags cannot stand alone unsupported by either wall or ceiling.
This invention allows the sport punch and kick bag to be suspended without the need for a wall or ceiling.
A specific descriptiom of the invention will be describ-ed with references to the accompaning drawings in which: Fig. 1 Shows the front view of the bag without supports.
Fig. 2 Shows the top and bottom view of the bag without supports.
Fig. 3 Shows the bag in perspective without supports.
Fig. 4 Shows a supporting stand for thebag.
Fig. 5 Shows perspective view of the bag and supporting stand.
Fig. 6 Shows perspective view of the bag, supporting stand and attachment between bag and stand.
Referring to the drawings reference 1,2, and 3 the sport punch bag is cylinderical in shape with a passage through, manufactured from leather, pvc, canvas or any suitabily strong material.
It consists of an inner and outer wall, top and bottom.
When constructed the bag is filled with a loose material between the inner and outer walls, so that the shape is formed.
The supporting stand shown in figure 4 can be manufactured irom any suitable material.
The bag is positioned over the stand, figure 5, and is held off the base of the supporting stand by chains or straps as shown in figure 6.

Claims (4)

  1. SPORT PUNCE AND KICK BAG
    CLAIMS 1) A sport punch and kick bag, shaped with a passage through allowing a support pole to enter at the bottom and exit at the top.
  2. 2) A sport punch and kick bag, as described in claim 1, that is not supported by brackets fixed to walls or ceiling.
  3. 3) A sport punch and kick bag, as described in claims 1 and 2 that is supported by a pole entering at the bottom and exiting at the top.
  4. 4) A sport punch and kick bag, as described in claims 1,2 and 3 attatched to the support pole, at the top, using straps or chains.
