Abstract

A ride on golf trolley comprises a wheeled frame 1 with a propulsion means, means for carrying a standing person 8 and a golf bag holder 3. A steering control 7 with speed hand controls and steered wheel or wheels 2 are provided at the front of the trolley and foot rests 5 are provided towards the rear of the trolley over an axle. The propulsion may be electric using a battery 6 located towards the front of thew trolley or the trolley may be petrol driven. The frame and steering column may be collapsible.

Description

Stand On Golf Baq Trolley This invention relates to a step on golf bag trolley.
Golf bag trolley's are well known vehicles which mainly consist of a wheeled frame which can carry a golf bag.
The frame has a handle which is used to push and stear the vehicle. Some trolley's are electrically driven as to eas the need for the operator to push the vehicle, but most are unpowered. This type of vehicle is relatively small in size so that they can fit into a car boot along with all the other golfers accessories. This type of vehicle is not in any way designed or built so that the operator could ride on it when traveling,it is only generally used for the eas of carrying a golf bag around a golf course.
According to the present invention there is provided a wheeled frame which is powered for the means of propulsion means,a bag holder where a golf bag is carried on the vehicle at the front. Also at the front of the vehicle the stearing wheel and stick or collumn are situated. The foot rests are situated near the rear but over the main axle as to provide the correct balance in order for the vehicle to be properly operated. Also there is a facility for the battery or bateries to sit securely. The invention mentioned is similar A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1 shows in perspective, the stand on golf bag trolley; Figure 2 shows in perspective, the stand on golf bag trolley from the rear.
Referring to the drawing the Stand On Golf Bag Trolley comprises of a wheeled frame i.This is powered by electrics which utilizes a battery 6.This could also be in turn petrol driven.
The steering wheel or wheels 2 are at the front. The golf bag is placed at the front of the vehicle onto the golf bag holder 3.The bag 4 is tied onto a collapsable support.
In order for not only the bag to be carried onboard the vehicle ,which is one of the main purposes of the vehicle 4 and 3 Fig.l foot rests are provided 5 Fig 2. so that the vehicle can carry comfortably the operator onboard in a standing position 8 Fig.l.The foot rests are sited on a balanced position so that the weight distribution is correct so to allow the vehicle to work. Also the positioning of the battery housing 6 adds to this factor.
The steering stick or column is positioned front so to give a holding on function to the operator as well as the main function and that is to steer the vehicle. All of the steering column 7 is collapsable and detatchable. The speed hand controls will be found on the steering column 7 Fig.2.
Referring to 8 Fig.l the operator can be seen in the assumed driving position with his feet firmly on the foot rests 5 Fig.2.

2 A Stand On Golf Bag Trolley as claimed in claim 1 should be collapsed into a size that would fit easily into the luggage compartment of an average family motor car.
3 A Stand On Golf Bag Trolley as claimed in claim 1 and in claim 2 is of simmilar size to a conventional golf bag trolley only slightly bigger due to the function of the footrests.
4 A Stand On Golf Bag Trolley as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 or claim 3 should not only be of simmilar size to that mentioned in claim 3 but should be steered by the use of wheels and a steering column.
5 A Stand On Golf Bag Trolley as in claim 1 should be powered by electical motors or other propulsion means and by the tranferrance to the main drive wheels or wheel.
6 A Stand On Golf Bag Trolley as in claim 1 should have footrests wherein the feet are placed when standing on the vehicle.
