Abstract

A flexible flask comprising a generally upright side arm 2 is filled with fluid. The side arm is provided with sliding calibration rings and the fluid is coloured. In operation the flask is compressed and the level which the fluid reaches in the side arm is observed and compared with the calibration rings.

Description

LIGHT PORTABLE DEVICE FOR EXERCISING AND RECORDING MUSCLE STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT THIS INVENTION REfl TES TO A LIGHTPORTABLE DEMCE FOR EXERCISING AND RECORDING MUSCLE STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT Compression exercise is a well known method of developing muscle strength, whether it be rubber ball, hand spring grip or the larger type ofpower spring bar. All work on the principle of either hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical resistance.
According to the present invention there is an exerciser comprising ofafluid filled flexible flask, a measuring pressure tube attached integrated to the main flask, sliding calibration rings around the measuring tube, colour pressure level indication A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which : Figure I shows a proJile view of the exerciser.
Figure 2 shows a side on view of the exerciser.
Referring to the drawing the exerciser comprises ofaflexible body 6 complete with integrated measuring tube 2 and end stop 1.
Operation of the exerciser is by compression of the flexible flask 6, thus forcing the coloured fluid 5 up the integrated measuring tube 2.
In order to record muscle strength the flexible body isfilled with a coloured fluid 5, muscle development being recorded by the sliding calibration rings 3, and the flu id level 4.

Claims (4)

CLAIM
1 The muscle exercising and recording device, a body in tbe form of a flexible flask, coloured hydraulic fluid contained within the flask, a measuring tube attached to the flask integrated to the body of the flask, sliding calibration rings encompassing the measuring tube.
2 An exerciser as in claim 1 wherein tbe integrated tube attached acts as a power level indicator.
3 An exerciser as in claim 1 or claim 2 wherein tbe movable calibration rings record the level of strength achieved.
4 An exerciser as in claim 2 or claim 3 wherein the fluid is coloured in order to give good visual indication of improvement.
