230,333. Spicer, W. J. June 28, 1924. Soothing-teats. - A babysoother is provided with an edible teat a which is positively but detachably secured to the safety disc c. In the form shown, the teat is provided with a core of cotton, tape, &c. b which is passed through an opening in the disc c and secured by a clip or knot b<1>. The core may be in the form of a loop, the two ends being passed through two openings in the disc and knotted together. The teat may be made of sugar and syrup of figs. A number of teats having various medicinal properties and complete with their cores may be supplied in boxes and when one teat is used up another be attached to the same disc c.
