Abstract

A Multi-bag carrier comprises a single pressed moulded unit with a handle (1) at each end joined by the main body (2). The handles (1) are specifically designed to distribute evenly throughout the user's hand, the total load weight, which is placed on the main body (2) by the loaded carrier bags. The carrier bag(s) are placed on to the multi-bag carrier by threading one of its handles (1) through the handles of the loaded carrier bag(s). Then the two handles (1) are held together in the user's hand, with the loaded carrier bag(s) resting on the main body (2). The carrier may be of polypropylene.

Description

MULTI-BAG CARRIER This invention relates to a hand held multi-bag carrier.
Plastic carrier bags are extensively issued by retailers in order to assist the consumer in carrying purchased products.
Plastic carrier bags are regularly given complimentary by retailers. and normally designed for short term use therefore they are generally made as cheaply as possible.
In order for the plastic carrier bag to withstand the weigh! of its contents, the handles of the bag are reinforced with additional plastic. however this has a drawback for example.
when the carrier bag is heavily loaded., the handles tend to cut into the user's hand.
According to the present invention there is provided 2 flCW hand held multi-bag carrier, comprising of a single pressed moulded plastic (Polyi'opylc;ne) unit (fig 1). The handles of the multi-bag carrier are specifically designed to distribute the load weight evenly throughout the user's hand. Therefore a number of loaded plastic carrier bags can easity be held with one hand.
The loaded plasuc carrier bags are placed onto the multi-bag canier by threading one of the multi-bag carrier handles(1) through the handles of plastic carrier bag(s), then both the moulded handles are held together, with Lilt: carrier bag(s) resting on main bodv(2) therefore creating a closed unit (fig 2).

Claims (3)

1. The hand held multi-bag canier comp:iscs of single pressed moulded plastic unit in Polypropylene (fig 1).
2. The hand held multi-bag carrier has specifically designed handles(l) in order to allow 'en load distribution while being camed.
3. The hand held multi-bag carrier is capable of canying a number of loaded plastic bags.
