Abstract

There is disclosed a walking stick which is used to lift dog excrement. A device which comprises grabs mounted on a spring mechanism which allows the grabs to open and close is mounted on the walking stick. A plastic bag can be attached to the grabs by means of sticky pads.

Description

DIRTY BAGGER This invention attaches to a walking cane or stick and is used to bag and lift dog (pet) excrement for easy disposal.
It is common practice whilst walking the dog to also carry a walking stick, this invention brings together common parts stick,grabs, and bags to form a useful tool for the pet loverand helps the environmentally conscious dog owner to clean up behind them without coming into contact with the excrement.
Essential items are contained within one piece which is secured to the walking cane by way of grub type screws mounted axially around two washer type rings ,thereby allowing fitting to most common diameter sticks (see sketch). The principal items are the grabs mounted on a spring mechanism allowing an open/shut action which when fitted with a standard plastic bag allows easy and clean pick up and bagging.
The drawings which follow show basic details and are purely illustrative to support the verbal description of the claims.

Claims (4)

DIRTY BAGGER - CLAIMS
1) A tool which attaches to a walking stick or cane which is used with a plastic bag to lift dog or pet excrement.
2) DIRTY BAGGER attached to a cane or walking stick to lift any pet droppings/ excrement.
3) Grabs and bag used together to lift excrement without contact to grab or person.
4) Bag attached to grabs by sticky replaceable pads held onto grabs. As shown in sketch 2.
