Abstract

The device for holding a cigarette pack case 5 and a lighter 15 together comprises a thin magnet plate 1 or a thin plate with one or more holes fitted with one or more magnets inserted in the cigarette pack case adjacent a narrow side of the case. A metal lighter, or a plastics lighter with a metal fire cap, is thereby attached to the side of the cigarette pack case.

Description

TITLE: CONNECTER FOR A CIGARETTE PACK CASE AND A LIGHTER Background Of The Invention This invention concerns a connected for a cigarette pack case and a lighter. more particularly, one having a magnetic force to suck a metal lighter to a side of a. cigarette pack case.

Common cigarette Pack cases are made of soft or hard paper, containing 20 cigarettes. impossible to contain a lighter, which is then to be separately carried br a smoker. Very often a lighter may be forgotten to be carried or lost.

Summary Of The Invention This invention, a connecter for a cigarette Pack case and a lighter, has been devised to have the following features.

1. It can be inserted between a side of a cigarette pack case and a aluminum foil or between a side of a cigarette Pack case and an outer transparent paper, having magnetic attracting force to attract a metal lighter to the side of the pack case so as to be carried together.

2. The magnetic attracting force of the connecter can still attract a lighter to a side of a cigarette pack case through the case paper wall or an outer transparent paper.

3. If a plastic lighter has a metal fire cap, the lighter can still be sucked by the magnetic connecter.

4. If a plastic lighter has a metal piece covered by a advertising label adhered on its outer surface, the lighter can still be attracted by the magnetic connecter. Or a metal piece can be fitted in the outer surface of the plastic lighter.

5. then a cigarette pack case with this connecter is used up, then the connecter can be used again, inserted in a ne pack case of cigarettes.

Detailed Description Of The Invention A first embodiment of a connecter for a cigarette pack case and a lighter in the Present invention, as showy in Figs. 1 and 2, comprises a thin Plate 1 shaped preferably rectangular. and one or more magnets pieces 3 fitted in one or more holes 2 provided in the thin plate 1. For example. in this descriPtion. two magnets and two holes are used.

A second embodiment of a connecter for a cigarette pack case and lighter in the present invention, as shown in Fig. 3, comprises a thin magnet plate 4 preferably shaped as rectangular.

The thin magnet Plate 4 is inserted in a cigarette pace case and abuts a small dimension side of the cigarette pack case to function as a connecter to attach a lighter to the cigarette pack case.

The connecter 1 or 4 of either the first or the second embodiment can be placed between a side wall 6 of a cigarette pack case 5 and and aluminum foil 7 as shown in Fig. 4 of between the side wall 6 of the cigarette case 5 and an outer transparent paper 8. Then the magnetic connecter 1 or 4 can attract a metal lighter 15 by means of magnetic attracting force of its own, keeping the lighter attached to the cigarette case, as shown in Fig.

12. And a lighter 9 provided with a metal fire cap can also be attracted to attach to a cigarette case 5 by the connecter 1 or 4 producing magnetic attracting force.

As for a plastic lighter 10, a small metal plate 12 or a magnetic plate can be fitted on its outer plastic case 11 as shown in Figs. 6 and 7. Or an advertising label 14 is adhered on a metal or magnetic piece 13 put on the plastic case 11. And a metal case 16 with an open upper side can replace the metal piece 13, increasing dimensions of the plastic lighter attracted by magnetism of the connecter 1 or 4, keeping the lighter 10 stably attached to the cigarette pack case and hardly fall off the case.

The connecter 1 or 4 can be moved to another pack of cigarette case, after one package is used up, usable repeatedly.

It is evident that this invention has fiwe advantages, as Sir can be understood from the above description.

1. A very simple structure to add a new function for a lighter.

2. Possible to be applied to a soft or hard cigarette pack case, and in addition, reinforcing soft ones, not to be creased.

3. No shielding or interfering the outlook of a cigarette Pack case or a lighter.

4. No possibility of forgetting to carry a lighter.

5. Effective sequence of taking out, lighting a cigarette and putting away a cigarette Pack case.

6. Usable repeatedly.

Claims

\,'hat Is Claimed Is:

1. A connecter for a cigarette'pack case and a lighter, formed of a thin plate shaped preferably as rectangular, to be inserted in a cigarette pack case and to abut a small dimension side of the case, having one or more holes for fitting one or more magnet plates therein to have magnetic attracting force for attracting and attaching either a metal lighter to the outer side of the cigarette pack case or a plastic lighter having a metal plate fitted in its outer surface so as to be attracted by the magnetic connecter and attaching to the side of the cigarette pack case.

2. The connecter for a cigarette Pack case and a lighter as claimed in Claim 1, wherein said lighter made of plastic is fixed with a thin metal plate on its outer surface so as to be attracted by said connecter.

3. The connecter for a cigarette pacts case and a lighter as claimed in Claim 1, wherein said metal Plate fixed on the housing of a lighter is a magnet.

4. A connecter for a cigarette Pack case and a lighter, formed of a thin magnet plate, possible to be inserted either between a cigarette Pack paper case and an aluminum foil or between the cigarette pack paper case and an outer transparent paper, attracting a metal lighter or a plastic lighter with a metal fire cap and letting the lighter attached to the side of the cigarette pack case.

5. A connecter for a cigarette Pack case and a lighter as claimed in Claim 1 or 4, wherein said plastic lighter is fitted half in a metal case with an open upper opening.
