Abstract

A feed bowl 1 or litter tray (1 fig 2) has a non-stick coating bonded to it to ease cleaning. The bowl may be rounded. The bowl or tray may be made of plastics, aluminium, stainless steel or melamine and may have rubber feet. The bowl or tray may have an external gloss finish.

Description

NON STICK RECEPTACLE FOR ANIMAL FEEDING AND ANIMAL LITTER This invention relates to non stick receptacles for animals.
Receptacles are widely used for feeding and toilet facilities for animals. These are currently made out of plastic, ceramics or metal.
However, they are notoriously difficult to clean dry matter off from.
According to the present invention, a non stick coating is used over a metal or plastic substrate to provide an easy clean surface.
The accompanying drawing shows two examples of the trays.
Figure 1 shows an animal food tray.
Figure 2 shows an animal litter tray.
Referring to the drawings figure 1 and 2, the size will change depending on the application and animal. The material of manufacture will be plastic or a heavier material such as aluminium, stainless steel or melanine. The receptacle will need to be relatively heavy to avoid excessive movement on feeding etc. Rubber feet could be used on the base to aid grip.
The shape of the feeding bowl will be rounded to enable food to be easily removed by the animal.

Claims (2)

1. A non stick animal receptable consists of a metal or plastic substrate shaped in the frn of a tray with a non stick coating bonded to it, thus providing easily cleanable feed and toilet equipment to the pet and animal market.
2. A non stick animal receptable as claimed in claim 1 can be cosmetically coated on external surfaces by a durable gloss finish coat.
