Lay - figure and like stands. - In a dressmakers' l a y - figure of the type described in Specification 214,989 the inflatable rubber - container 10 is provided with a number of open ended rubber tubes 12 extending transversely from back to front, a cord 18 being passed through a group of tubes 12 to adjust the shape of the container. Each tube may be provided with a separate cord, the ends of which are secured to stops of wood &c., or with light rods adjustable in length.
