Abstract

The body of the potato baker is a government surplus mess tin. A dome shaped lid is made to fit not too tightly to the tin. A filler insert container fits in the tin and, it is provided with a handle to lift it out. The baker runs off electricity.

Description

Title: The Individual Potato Baker With space on top for the filler, shape would be similar to adow cooker but smaller, 41/2" high by 41/2" diameter cool touch.
Wired to run off house electricity roughly to bake a potato in one hour 1st switch, 2nd switch in two hours, potato could be spiked vertically with a spacer. I find a weighty unbreakable lid resting on top would work quite well.

Claims:
1. A Government surplus mess tin is the main body of the potato baker.
2. A lid is to be made to fit domed shape.
3. An insert, the filler container made to fit in one end of the body, left or right.
2a. In the centre of the lid is a cool touch rounded knob fixed to the lid by a rustless small bolt.
