Description
TITLE: A COIN DISPENSING DEVICE
This invention is concerned with a coin dispensing device.
It has been found that the prior art coin dispensing device often fails and is complicated in structure thereby causing much inconvenience in use.
Therefore, it is the primary object of the present invention to provide a coin dispensing device which can positively push out the coin.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a coin dispensing device which seldom fails.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a coin dispensing device which is simple in construction.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a coin dispensing device which is low in cost.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a coin dispensing device which is durable in use.
The invention accordingly consists of features of constructions and method, combination of elements, arrangement of.parts and steps of the method which will be exemplified in the constructions and method hereinafter disclosed, the scope of the application of which will be indicated in the claim following.
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a coin dispensing device according to the present invention;
FIGS. 2 and 3 show the working principle of the spring-loaded projection;
FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of the spring-loaded projection;
FIG. 5 is a sectional view of the present invention; and
FIG. 6 shows the working principle of the present invention.
For purpose of promoting an understanding of the principles of the invention, reference will now be made to the embodiment illustrated in the drawings. Specific language will be used to describe same. It will, nevertheless, be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, such alterations and further modifications in the illustrated device, and such further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated herein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.
With reference to the drawings and in particular to
FIG. 1 thereof, the coin withdrawing device according to the present invention mainly comprises a seat 1, a frame 2, a coin collecting tube 24, a solenoid 3, and a pushing mechanism 4.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 5 and 6, the seat 1 includes a front plate 9 at one end, a rear plate 11 at another end, and an intermediate plate 8 between the front plate 9 and the rear plate 11. A horizontal holding plate 10 is connected with the front plate 9. The horizontal holding plate 10 is formed with a semi-circular recess 101 with two ends 100 while the rear plate 11 has a center hole 110.
The frame 2 is provided with a tubular member 21 having external threads 211 and a plurality of longitudinal grooves 210. Further, the frame 2 is formed with a slot 26 under the tubular member 21 and two protuberances 22.
The coin collecting tube 24 is inserted in the tubular member 21 of the frame 2. A collar 25 with internal threads 250 is engaged with the eternal threads 211 of the tubular member 21 of the frame 2 thereby locking the coin collecting tube 24 in a fixed position.
The horizontal holding plate 10 of the seat 1 is inserted into the slot 26 of the frame 2 with its ends 100 supported by the protuberances 22 of the seat 1 thus providing a passage 220 for receiving a coin 6. Further, the passage 220 is provided with two spring-loaded projections 222 which are aligned with each other (see
FIGS. 2, 3 and 4).
The solenoid 3 is mounted in a chamber 5 of the seat 1 and will become magnetic when an electric current is passed therethrough.
The pushing mechanism 4 includes a push rod 41 slidably disposed within the solenoid 3 and supported between the intermediate plate 8 and the rear plate 11.
Further, a push rod 41 is enclosed with a helical spring 43 which is kept between a front collar 42 and a rear collar 44. A packing 46 is fitted between the rear collar 44 and the rear plate 11. The rear plate 11 and the packing 16 are fixedly mounted on a rear end of the push rod 41 is a screw 45. The front end of the push rod 41 is formed with a groove 410 engaged with an enlarged edge 410 of a push plate 40 so that the push plate 40 will be moved in unison with the push rod 41. The push plate 40 is inserted into the passage 220 formed between the tubular member 21 and the horizontal holding plate 10.
When in use, the coins 6 are first put into the coin collecting tube 24 so that the coin 6 at the lowest position is disposed on the horizontal holding plate 10.
Thereafter, the power supplied to the solenoid 3 is turned on and the push rod 41 is attracted forward (see FIGS. 5 and 6) thereby pushing the push plate 40 into the passage 220. Then, the coin 6 at the lowest position is pushed out of the passage 3 by the push plate 40. The spring-loaded projections 222 are used to prevent the coin 6 from getting out of the passage 3 inadvertently.
The invention is naturally not limited in any sense to the particular features specified in the forgoing or to the details of the particular embodiment which has been chosen in order to illustrate the invention.
Consideration can be given to all kinds of variants of the particular embodiment which has been described by way of example and of its constituent elements without thereby departing from the scope of the invention. This invention accordingly includes all the means constituting technical equivalents of the means described as well as their combinations.
