Abstract

An odour seal for a waste container comprises a closed body provided with inlet means and outlet means, said body containing a buoyant ball which sits on the outlet means when no water is present in the body thereby closing the outlet means and preventing the excape of gases from the container. <IMAGE>

Description

INFORMATION AND OPERATION DETAILS OF THE SAFE 'N' FRESH WASTE VALVE When using a conventlonal caravan waste container system, the waste pipe is simply placed in the waste barrel. Therefore it It Is not totally sealed It is very invitlng to files, mosquitoes etc.. both ot which are well known to be a health hazard as well as annoying when they linger around the caravan, particularly when children are playing nearby.
As the waste water is stored In the container, it releases a very unpleasant odour which can be smelt both outside and inside the caravan by way of returning up the waste pipe.
This situation is made worse by hot weather, but can easily and cheaply be solved.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION DETAILS OF THE SAFE 'N' FRESH WASTE VALVE THE SOLUTION: The Safe 'N' Fresh Sealed Unit Waste Valve can be fitted to most waste containers, and allows free flow of water through the inlet to the container, via a scented non-return valve.
This product is highly engineered from precision moulds and using environmentally friendly, recyclable plastics.
Waste water enters at inlet( and flows down through the float stopper valve which allows the water to flow into the container. When the water has ceased flowing the float stoppertNill fall and seal the odours below, preventing them from returning.
The Freshener (freshens the whole valve and also has an active effect on any deposits which form in the waste pipe itself. It can be replaced by removing the lid on top of cap (which means a quick and easy change, and no contact with any unpleasant residue inside the unit.

  1. INFORMATION AND OPERATION DETAILS OF
    THE SAFE 'N' FRESH WASTE VALVE THE SOLUTION: The Safe 'N' Fresh Sealed Unit Waste Valve can be fitted to most waste containers, and allows free flow of water through the inlet to the container, via a scented non-return valve.
    This product is highly engineered from precision moulds and using environmentally friendly, recyclable plastics.
