Abstract

The retail counter display device for counterfeit note checking and advertising purposes has a standard body shown at Figure 1a so that other features may be attached namely; illuminated lightboxes, product trays, product hanging bars, magazine rack, dump bin or deep tray. A fundamental part of the design is that an ultra violet tube for the purpose of assisting in the detection of counterfeit bank notes is built in at the inside top of the unit Figure 1b. The unit is designed to stand on a counter either in front or at the side of a till or at any other position suitable. <IMAGE>

Description

RETAIL COUNTER DISPLAY DEVICE FOR COUNTERFEIT NOTE DETECTION AND ADVERTISING PURPOSES This invention relates to a Display System incorporating an ultra violet flourescent tube for counterfeit note detection.
According to the present invention, there is provided a Counter Display System into which a counterfeit note detection device is fitted. The unit will be capable of taking advertising inserts and / or product display devices.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing which: Figure la shows the unit in perspective, with the facility to take advertising inserts, Figure Ib shows a reverse view with the counterfeit note detection unit in position.
Figure 2 shows the unit with the facility to take illuminated advertising inserts (lightboxes).
Figure 3 shows the unit with trays for products in position.
Figure 4 shows the unit with product hanging bars in position.
Figure 5 shows the unit with a magazine rack in position.
Figure 6 shows the unit with a dump bin or deep tray in position.
In order to affix all of the attachments, the standard unit is supplied with the appropriate additional "add on".

Claims (1)

1) A display device which houses a counterfeit note detector which stands on a counter, by, or in front of a till, cash point or similar and has the facility to have non-illuminated advertising inserts placed on the unit 2) A display device as claimed in claim 1 which incorporates illuminated lightboxes 3) A display device as claimed in claim 1 or 2 which incorporates trays for products 4) A display device as claimed in claim 1, 2 or 3 which incorporates the facility for product hanging bars.
5) A display device as claimed in claim 1, 2, 3 or 4 which incorporates a magazine rack.
6) A display device as claimed in claim 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 which incorporates a dumpbin display or large tray.
