Abstract
An inflatable toy doll comprises, within the cavity of the inflated body 1 of the doll, a sound-producing pump 2, a pull bar 9 and a main control board 8. The doll has swinging arms R that are connected to the pull bar 9 to enable manually actuated movement. A primary pull cord 3 and a secondary pull cord 7 are respectively connected to the sound-producing pump 2 and to the pull bar 9, such that movement of the primary pull cord 3 causes the sound-producing pump 2 to emit a whistling sound, while the secondary pull cord 7 moves the pull bar 9 up and down, thereby causing the arms R to move up and down. The up and down movement of the arms R within the cavity can be viewed through a transparent window. <IMAGE>

In order that the invention may be more fully understood, the preferred embodiment will now be described, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1 is a cross-sectional drawing of the structure of the invention herein from a frontal perspective.
Figure 2 is a cross-sectional drawing of the structure of the invention herein from a lateral perspective.
Figure 3 is a front view of the preferred embodiment of the invention herein.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As indicated in FIG. 1, the cross-sectional drawing of the structure of the invention herein from a frontal perspective, the invention herein consists of an inflatable toy body (1) and fastened inside the head section is a sound-producing pump (2) and a primary pull cord (3) that runs outside the inflatable toy body (1), wherein one end of the primary pull cord (3) is inserted through the gound-producing pump (2) and is fastened behind the seal plate (4) of the sound-producing pump (2) and the other end of the primary pull cord (3) is fastened to a pull ring (5); there is a flat section (60) on the underside of the sound-producing pump (2) to which is attached a cover plate (6) with a suspension ring (61); behind the flat section (60) attached to the underside of the seal plate (4), the suspension ring (61) is tied to a secondary pull cord (7) that is routed through the hole (80) in the main control board (8) and is.fastened by rivet I to the pull bar (9);; the aforesaid Main control board (8) consists of a thin rectaggular board with points A, B, C, D, B, F and G demarking rivet holes (81), (82), (83), (84), (85), (86) and (87), respectively, and the
Main control board (8) also has a hole (80) at the upper end and an elongated hole (88) at the lower end, furthermore, the lower edge of the main control board (8) is conjoined through high temperature fusion to the interior base (11) of the inflatable toy body (1); the base (11) is a flat ring with a theatrical object (P) attached to the outer edge (110) of the circucference that enables the inflatable toy body (1) to keep from being toppled and remain upright when fully inflated; the aforementioned pull bar (9) has an upper hole (90), center hole (91) and a lower hole (92); and the outer arms (R) are thin pieces with each having the two holes (R1) and (R2). As indicated in FIG. 1-2, the aforementioned pull bar (9) and Main control board (8) are configured such that the pull bar (9) is inserted through the elongated hole (88) on the Main control board (8); there is a spring (S) connecting the pull bar (9) to the
Main control board (8), wherein one end of the spring (S) is fastened by the rivet H to the rear side of the pull bar (9), while the other end of the spring (S) is fastened by the rivet G onto the
Main control board (8); the hole (91) at the ends of both the right and left arms (R) are aligned with and riveted to the center hole (91) of the pull bar (9) and the two holes (R1) on the right and left arms (R) are fastened to the Main control board (8) by the rivet s through hole (85) and the rivet F through hole (86); and the enclosure (L) inside the inflatable toy body is fastened onto the nain control board (8) by the rivets A, B, C, and D through holes (81), (82), (83) and (84), respectively.Based on the foregoing structure, when the pull ring (5) attached to the primary pull cord (3) is tugged, the sound-producing pump (2) is compressed and the contained air is expelled outward from the inflatable toy body (1), such that a whistling sound is produced when the expelled air flows through the whistle (20) mounted at the top of the sound-producing pump (2); at the same time, the cover plate (6) attached to the secondary pull cord (7) actuates the pull bar (9), which causes the arms (R) to move upward, furthermore, since the relaxed tension of the spring (S) behind the Main control board (8) results in the downward movement of the pull bar (9) and thereby allows the arms (R) to also move downward, therefore, when the pull ring (5) is tugged upward and downward, this causes the continuous motion of the sound-producing pump (2), meanwhile, the repetitive movement of the arms (R) inside the cavity of the inflatable toy body (1) can be observed through the transparent layer (10) on the enclosure (L); as such, the functions of the aforementioned structure of the invention herein are not only the capability of allowing the player to enjoy a feeling of amusement due to the inflation of the toy, but also offers additional entertainment due to the produced sound and actiono and, therefore, the invention herein is truly a new-type atilti-function toy with a design that is innovative in the toy industry; therefore, the invention herein fully complies with required conditions of practicality and innovation specified for the application of a new invention patent and thus, the application for patent right. io hereby respectfully and duly filed with the examination bureau to enable the inspection officials to conduct a comparative evaluation of the unique structural configuration and the resulting amusement and entertainment functions of the invention herein, with the further hope that the efforts of the inventor herein may be encouraged by the earliest possible granting of the cosoenourate patent rights merited by the invention herein, such that the invention herein may be introduced for public enjoyment in the near future.
