Abstract

A golf training device is fitted between both knees below the knee joints, on each leg and joined by a plastic swivel bar with a pivot and with side supports to fasten on the users legs and which can be used to control leg and body movements during the golf swing to improve golf shot accuracy. <IMAGE>

Description

DESCRIPTION OF GOLF BALANCED SWING DEVICE 1. This invention relates to a Golf Balanced Swing Device (GBSD).
2. Golf devices are well known as training aids, but this is a special type of device which fits between both legs, below the knee joints, to the lower leg muscles.
3. The device is to control swaying of the body when a golfer swings the golf club, and also to enable the golfer to better his back swing and follow through on his downward swing.
4. The above device can be adjusted to any individual's width of stance and also for both right and left handed golfers.
5. The above device does not fully restrict any movement of the legs, only to control the body from swaying.
6. It will also be useful for any Professional Golfer to use as a training device, to give lessons to beginners and improvers.

7. The main aim is for any type of golfer to use the device to help him/her improve their golfing skills. With the device, the golfer can improve on the tempo of his/her swing and hit far straighter shots, etc.
8. The GBSD is adjustable to play a variety of golf shots from driving to chipping, etc.

Claims (4)

  1. CLAIMS OF THE
    GOLF BALANCED SWING DEVICE 1. The GBSD comprises a plastic swivel bar and plastic leg
    supports with either plastic of Velerolfastenings, which is fitted below the knee joints to the lower leg muscles.
  2. 2. The GBSD is adjustable to fit the knees of persons of different sizes.
  3. 3. The GBSD will control the swaying of the body in the golf swing, and so enable the golfer to improve his back swing and follow through on the downward swing, the effect of which will enable the golfer to improve his tempo, his swing and produce more accurate golf shots.
  4. 4. The GBSD is more accurately defined in the accompanying diagram.
