Abstract

A pocket handkerchief frame comprises two vertical strips 10 which are ridged and are joined by a horizontal shaft 11 which encases a mechanism, eg. a spring (Fig. 2), allowing the frame to contract and expand. A specially designed handkerchief is placed over the body (Fig. 3). The entire frame with the handkerchief attached is then slid into the top pocket by applying force to the top of the vertical shafts leaving the top of the handkerchief protruding, and is removed from the pocket after contracting the frame laterally against the action of the spring. Other mechanisms which may be used in the horizontal shaft 11 comprise magnets or hydraulics. <IMAGE>
