Description

TITLE: A MINI-TYPE TELEPHONE This invention relates to a mini-type telephone.
It has been found that the conventional telephone (see FIG. 3) is mainly composed of a casing 10, a keyboard 20, a handset 30, and a telephone communication circuit 50. However, the handset 30 must have a length at least equal to the distance between the mouth and the ear of an user thereby making the handset 30 unable to be greatly decreased in size and therefore, limiting the design in appearance.
Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a mini-type telephone which may obviate and mitigate the above-mentioned drawback.
This invention relates to a mini-type telephone.
It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a mini-type telephone in which the handset is replaced with a combined speaker and receiver.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a mini-type telephone which may be shaped as desired.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a mini-type telephone of which the combined speaker and receiver may be embedded therein.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a mini-type telephone which is simple in construction.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a mini-type telephone which is fit for practical use.
Other objects and merits and a fuller understanding of the present invention will be obtained by those having ordinary skill in the art when the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment is read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings wherein like numerals refer to like or similar parts.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention; FIG. 2 is a circuit diagram of the present invention; and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a prior art telephone.
For purpose of promoting an understanding of the principles of the invention, reference will now be made to the embodiment illustrated in the drawings. Specific language will be used to describe same. It will, nevertheless, be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, such alternations and further modifications in the illustrated device, and such further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated herein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.
With reference to the drawings and in particular to FIG. 1 thereof, the mini-type telephone according to the present invention mainly comprises a casing 1, a keyboard 2, a telephone communication circuit 3, and a combined speaker and receiver 4. The key board 2 and the telephone communication circuit 3 are well known in the art and has no need to be mentioned here in detail. The mini-type telephone according to the present invention is characterized in the combined speaker and receiver 4 which is made as large as an earphone so that the contour of the telephone can be designed into any desired shape.
Referring to FIG. 2, the loudspeaker 5 used as the receiver and the microphone 6 used as the speaker are arranged in the combined speaker and receiver 4. Further, the loudspeaker 5 and the microphone 6 are connected by a high speed electronic switch 7 so that the loudspeaker 5 can be rapidly switched to the microphone 6 and vice versa. Hence, only one kind of signal can be connected with the combined speaker and receiver 4 at any time thereby obviating the disturbance between the speaker and receiver.
As illustrated in FIG. 1, the casing 1 is shaped into a dog and the combined speaker and receiver 4 is mounted at the tail of the dog. In addition, the combined speaker and receiver 4 is connected with a rewinding device (not shown) so that the combined speaker and receiver 4 may be pulled out for use and will automatically retrieved when released. However, it should be noted that the rewinding device is well known in the art and has no need to be mentioned here in detail. Further, the bottom of the casing 1 may be fixed on the table top 9 by a dual-surface adhesive tape 9.
The invention is naturally not limited in any sense to the particular features specified in the forgoing or to the details of the particular embodiment which has been chosen in order to illustrate the invention.
Consideration can be given to all kinds of variants of the particular embodiment which has been described by way of example and of its constituent elements without thereby departing from the scope of the invention. This invention accordingly includes all the means constituting technical equivalents of the means described as well as their combinations.
