Abstract

A stand for supporting a keyboard, musical literature or other components comprises a panel support structure 4, leg members 6 which are pivotable relative to the support, for example by hinges 8, and a removable shelf supported between the leg members. The stand may be provided with wheels or handles for ease of transportation. The stand may be provided with a case for storage or transportation. <IMAGE>

Description

PIANO KEYBOARD STANDS THIS INVENTION RELATES TO PIANO KEYBOARD STANDS According to the present invention there is provided a portable folding piano keyboard stand comprising of a panel support structure and two side panel legs and is hingedly or pivotally connected there to and a shelf panel accommodated between side panel legs and is adapted to be erected when side panel legs are opened outwards from the panel support structure and a shelf panel is placed between panel legs to accommodate piano keyboard.
Preferably the side panel leg members will be movable relative to the panel support structure and fixed supports to movable side panel leg members as to be able to accommodate said shelf panel.
In order that the invention may be more readily understood an embodiment thereof will now be described by way of example.
Reference being made to the accompanying diamatic drawing the single figure of which is a keyboard stand in accordance with the present invention.
Referring to the drawing, the piano keyboard stand in accordance with the invention indicated generally by reference number 2 comprises of a panel support structure 4 and side panel leg members 6 which are attached to the panel support structure 4 through intermediary of a hinge 8.
On both side panel leg members 6 is accommodated supports 12 relative to accommodate a shelf pane 10.
The panel support structure 4 and side panel leg members 6 houses a shelf panel 10 which accommodates a piano keyboard.
Finally it will be appreciated that the piano keyboard stand 2 as shown in drawing may accommodate any other type of components suitable for example. Accommodating to walls, caravans, trailers, vans, other instruments and music literature and panel leg members 6 when collapsed for storing or transporting of piano keyboard stand and that extra body members of any kind suitable to piano keyboard stand 2 may be accommodated to piano keyboard stand 2 in any position to erect or collapse the keyboard stand body members may be hinged by one or more hinges. For example to erect piano keyboard stand 2 or to collapse if desired the piano keyboard stand structure 2 may be provided with wheels or handle components of any kind such that the whole piano keyboard stand 2 maybe transportable and that the whole of the piano keyboard stand 2 maybe if desired accommodated or housed to a box or cupboard or case for example, for storing or transporting.

Claims (1)

  1. PIANO KEYBOARD STAND A portable folding piano keyboard stand comprising of a support structure means for releasably securing leg members and shelf members are provided releasably there to accommodate piano keyboards and when shelf members are not in use or for transporting are moved to lay to and accommodated there to the piano keyboard stand and a microphone holder member is hingedly pivotally or sliding releasably is connected to the piano keyboard there on, and post members shelf members hingedly or pivotally or sliding releasably or fixed are connected to the piano keyboard stand.
