Abstract

A brickwork pointing pallet comprising two vertical guides 2 to direct the sand/cement mix into the vertical area between the bricks when used with a narrow pointing trowel, a flat area 1 to hold the sand/cement mix and which will also be used to direct the sand/cement mix into the horizontal area between the bricks, a handle 3. <IMAGE>

Description

BRICKWORK POINTING PALLET This invention relates to a pallet used in the pointing of brickwork.
The pointing of brickwork is normally carried out by using a pailet and trowel whereby the pallet hold the sand/cement m and the pointing of the brickwork is carried out using a pointing trowel. A degree of skill is required when pointing the vertical area between the bricks According to the present invention there is provided 9 brickwork pointing pallet. comprising a flat area for holding the sand/cenent mix, and two vertical guides to direct the sand/cement nix into the vertical area between the bricks, a handle The invention will now be described by way of reference to the accompanying drawing where an orthographic projection of the brickwork pointing paliet is shown.
Referring to the drawing the brickwork pointing pailei; camprises a flat area 1 for holding the sand/cement mix,two vertical guides 2, a handle 5.
In order to use the brickwork pointing pallet for vertical pointing the sand/cement mix is pushed into the vertical area between the guides 2, and applied to thc brickwork using a vertical wiping motion of a narrow type pointing trowel (not shown) with the sides of the vertical guide's directing the sand/cement mix to where it is required.

  1. CLAIXS
    A brickwork pointing pallet comprising a flat area holding the sand/cement mix, two vertical guides to di rect the sand/cement mix into the vertical area between the tricks, a handle.
  2. 2 A brickwork pointing pallet as claimed in claim 1, wherein two vertical guides direct the sand/cement mix to where it is required.
