Abstract

Sunglasses with an instantly replaceable lens 2 include a frame having at least three dowels 13 at top inner portion, a plurality of notches 14 at respective sides of each dowel, and a recess 12 along its length and in an arcuate shape in cross-section and the lens 2 having at least of three dowel sockets 21 adapted to receive the dowels 13 therein while the top portion of the lens is inserted into the recess 12 of the frame. A Vee notch may locate at the center bottom portion of the lens adapted to receive a nose bridge 4 thereon, and has two lugs 22 at bottom respective ends adapted to prevent the nose bridge 4 from coming off. To mount the lens 2 to the frame 1, the lens is simply pushed upwardly toward the frame. <IMAGE>

Description

TITLE: SUNGLASSES WITH INSTANT REPLACEABLE LENSES Field of the invention This invention relates to a sunglasses. More particularly, a sunglasses is able to be replaced with lenses, instantly.
Background of prior art Sunglasses have widely been worn by people to isolate sun direct shining into eyes. Another reason for people to wear sunglasses is to have a so-called "COOL" feeling.
Sunglasses of prior art, as shown in FIG. 5, are generally two lenses B been clampped into two recesses Al of a frame A. The frame A has two femal channels at respective ends adapted to interlock two male channels of two bow C. The lenses B are generally made from glass which is fragile and easy to be worn. When it is necessary to replace a lense, the entire glasses has to be throw away which is impractical.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a sunglasses with instant replaceable lenses which is easy and takes less time to replace lenses.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a sunglasses with instant replaceable lenses which is applicable in use.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a sunglasses with instant replaceable lenses which complies with the cost effectiveness. It is still a further object of the present invention to provide a sunglasses with instant replaceable lenses which is more solid BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention, partially sectioned; FIG. 2A is an exploded view of FIG. 1, FIG. 2B is an enlarged view of the notch and dowel of FIG. - 2A; FIG. 3 is a side elevational view of FIG. 1, partially sectioned; FIG. 4 is a front plan view; and FIG. 5 is a prior art.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PERFERRED EMBODIMENT Reference is now made the drawings, in particular to FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention is essentially composed of a frame 1, a lens 2, two bows 3, and a nose bridge 4.
The frame 1 is a longitudinal strip having two male -channels 11 at respective ends, a recess 12 extending along the length thereof and in an arcuate shape of crosssection having provided with at least three dowels 13 equally spaced along the inner portion of the frame 1. Two notches 14 are formed at respective sides of each dowel 13 in order to provide a restoring force upon a biasing force disappeared.
The lens 2 has a series of dowel sockets 21 at top inner portion coinciding with the dowels 13 each of which being aligned with respect to each dowel 13 when the lens 2 is secured to the frame 1 by sliding the top edge of the lens 2 into the recess 12 of the frame 1. A reversed Vee notch is formed at center bottom portion adapted to receive the nose bridge 4. Two lugs 22 are formed at respective ends of the Vee notch adapted to prevent the nose bridge 4 from slipping off.
Each bow 3 has a female channel at one end adapted to interlock with the male channel 11 and fastened by screw 32.
The nose bridge 4 is a reversed Vee shape corresponding to the shape of the Vee notch of the lens 2 having a channel 41 adapted to insert onto the Vee notch.
A series of pegs 42 along the inner periphery of the bridge 4 are corresponding in size as well as quantity with peg holes 51 provided along the outer periphery of a nose support 5.
To assemble, interlock the female channels 31 and the male channels 11, as shown in FIG. 3, connect the lnes 2 and the frame 1 together by pushing. the lens 2 upwardly towards the recess 12 of the frame 1,- whereat, dowels 13 will be projected therein. Slide the channel 41 of the nose bridge 4 along the Vee notch until the bottom portion at respective of the channel 41 have passed through the lugs 22. Press connect the nose support 5 to the nose bridge 4, as shown in FIG. 4, and the present invention is completed.
While there has been described and illustrated one specific embodiment of the invention, it will be clear that variations in the details of the embodiment specifically illustrated and described may be made without departing from the time spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claim.

  1. I CLAIM:
    1. Sunglasses with instant replaceable lens essentially composed of a frame, and a lnes: Said frame having a recess along the length thereof and in an arcuate shape of cross-section, a plurality of dowels been provided along the inner peripheral portion, a plurality of notches located at respective sides of said dowels; Said lens having a plurality of dowel sockets at top inner portion thereof coinciding with said dowels both in dimension as well as quantity adapted to receive said dowels therein so as to secure said lens to said frame.
