Abstract

A structure for preventing ground erosion comprises used vehicle tyres linked together by means of a rod 1 and structure 2. The centre of the structure may be filled with concrete. <IMAGE>

Description

SEA DEFENSE 1. Old Railway Lines or similar Pile driven to required depth.
2. Cylindrical Structure around original support to reinforce Concrete Structure and position Rubber Tyres.
3. Old used rubber tyres preferably uniform size placed in position of upright formed by previous operation.
4. When the required height is agreed the top layer of Tyres is compressed by the Standing S J B to increase the seal and prevent leakage when filled with concrete.
5. Fill with Concrete with agitation.

Claims (3)

CLAIMS.
1. A structure of uniform size vehicle tyres stacked in piles and held in position by three re-enforcing rods. These rods which are evenly spaced and of the correct size are held in position by steel rings.
The re-enforcing structure can be several feet below the ground and also the tyres if the situation demands it. The central aperture is then filled with concrete after holding the tyres in position to prevent movement.
2. A structure as in claim 1. with an additional steel centre column such as a long scaffolding pole driven very deep into the ground before filling with concrete.
3. More than one re-enforced structure as in Claim 1 & 2 when interlocked by close placing will form a barrier against sea & BR< soil erosion.
