Abstract

226,106. Mijnhardt, A. June 2, 1924. Brush stocks.-The back of a brush, more particularlv a toothbrush or other toilet brush, is of hollow box-like form and perforations are formed in the wall 1 carrying the bristles and in a dished portion 5 of the opposite wall 4. Liquid may be admitted through the portion 5 to the interior of the hollow back from which it may be expelled to clean the brush by blowing with the mouth through the perforations in the portion 5. One or both of the end walls 6 may also be perforated. The perforations in the wall 1, instead of being situated between the bristletufts, may each be surrounded by a tuft.
