Resistance ovens.- An electric cooking and baking apparatus comprises a heating element c disposed within a. parabolic cup or reflector a combined with a concave cover or lid e, the heat being transmitted to the plate f or the like which is to be heated in the enclosed space thus formed partly directly and partly by reflection from the cup a or cover e. The cup may either be inverted with the plate f standing on the cover e as shown in Fig. 1. or for stronger heating, the cup may be turned upright on its foot b, in which case the plate f is supported on brackets g, as shown in Fig. 2, and receives heat reflected downwardly from the cover e. Specification 186,449 is referred to.
