Anti - dazzle screens.- Relates to weather-guards or anti-dazzle attachments for the use of vehicle drivers of the kind comprising a sheet of celluloid or like material mounted in a rigid frame and adapted to be connected to the wind-screen standards or to the upper part of the vehicle body. In order that the guard or shield b, Figs. 1 and 2, may be adjusted to any desired inclination, it is supported at each end by means of a two-armed support, the arms c, c<1> of which may be clamped in any position relative to each other. In the construction shown the arms c<1> are hinged to brackets d, which are clamped at e to the wind-screen standards and carry at their upper ends rods f fitting adjustably into a tube h and forming a pivot for supports g on the frame of the shield. Connected to the free ends of the arms c<1> are slotted brackets l engaging with the frame of the shield. The hinge between the arms c<1> and brackets d comprises a plate or fitting k, Fig. 14, attached to the bracket d and formed with a circular series of projections k<2> co-operating with a corresponding series of recesses m on the arm c<1>, which is clamped in any adjusted position by a nut n and bolt o. By arranging the brackets l to project inwardly or outwardly and by adjusting the rods f in the tube h, shields of various widths may be supported, or one shield may be fitted to vehicles of various widths.
